Greetings! I'm Alyssa, an MBA-MA graduate from The Wharton School (dual degree in International Studies with the Lauder Institute) and a former Manager at Bain & Company. I pride myself on having a strong background in both numbers and words—I graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with degrees in History and Economics, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. At Bain & Company, I spent several years working on strategic projects for Fortune 500 clients across a diverse set of industries, sharpening my analytical skills and working on high-stakes problem solving. In addition to my consulting experience, my academic journey at Wharton and the Lauder Institute has equipped me with a deep understanding of global business strategy, cross-cultural communication, and leadership. Hi! I'm a Harvard MBA graduate and received admission through the deferred admit / 2+2 program (with a GMAT of 760). I've had a diverse set of work experiences both before HBS (venture capital, social activism, government) and since (Goldman Sachs, The Economist, and now transitioning into creative work / poetry). I love coaching people and particularly enjoy helping international students, and students from unconventional or underrepresented backgrounds. Funnily I've also had a lot of experience getting rejected from places (across sectors and regions!) - which has taught me a lot about what works, and what doesn't -- and how to stay sane through it all :)
