I have read thousands of law school applications and can help you put your best foot forward in the application process. I will work with just about anyone, but I specialize in helping individuals from underrepresented communities find their perfect law school fit and those who aren't necessarily aiming for Ivy Leagues/T-14/T-30 schools (but if that's your goal, I'm more than happy to help). I I bring a nontraditional perspective to law school and business school admissions, having spent nearly eight years in the professional world and over five years living and working abroad in Dubai and across the Middle East before returning to graduate school. I earned both my B.A. and M.A. from Brown University and was accepted into nearly every law school I applied to, as well as multiple JD-MBA programs. I also earned multiple merit scholarships at every school I was accepted to, and successfully navigated the negotiating process to increase my package based on other offers. Alongside my academic and professional journey, I am a three-time Ironman 70.3 finisher and competed at the 2023 World Championships, which reflects my commitment to discipline, resilience, and long-term goal-setting. I am deeply passionate about helping others navigate ambitious transitions while maintaining balance, well-being, and a clear sense of purpose. I have a degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and I am a former news journalist, relentless reader, avid writer, and Stanford MBA. My first law school client came from a military background. We worked together from the get-go on her Personal Statement, Optional and Diversity Statements, resume, and preparing for interviews. She got into: Harvard, Cornell, Michigan, Vanderbilt, GWU, Syracuse, Boston College and Colorado. With my unique background in both law and business, I bring a comprehensive perspective to help aspiring law students navigate the admissions process. Although I am new to formal/paid coaching, I have consulted with dozens of candidates on the application process. Personally, I was accepted to a majority of the T-14 law schools (including a significant merit-based scholarship at UPenn) and currently hold a 3.9 GPA in the law school classroom. My experiences as a Summer Associate at Latham & Watkins and a Law Clerk at the United States Department of Justice have provided me with insights into the legal profession—I hope to leverage these insights and more to help you craft your story. I am currently a 3L student at University of Pennsylvania Law School. I was accepted off the waitlist in May 2023; before I committed to Penn, I was planning on attending UCLA Law. At Penn, I was awarded the Leader of the Year Award for my pro bono work my 2L year, received my Wharton Certificate in Management, and was a Wharton McNulty Nonprofit Board Fellow with Jounce Partners. I am the Development Editor for the Journal of Constitutional Law and led both the Pardon Project and Democracy Law Project (the two largest pro bono projects at Penn). Before law school, I worked for three years -- I was on the 2020 Biden Campaign and then worked in the Administration at the U.S. Department of Health of Human Services in the Secretary's Office. I have mentored four people through the law school waitlist process, drawing on my own experience of being initially waitlisted at Penn. When I applied to law school, I was working long hours and was not a natural test taker, so I focused on leveraging my professional experience and presenting my story in the strongest possible way. That approach earned me admission to UCLA Law (a T14 school) through my personal statement and essays, and later, I was accepted off the waitlists at both Georgetown Law and Penn Law before starting 1L. Since then, I have coached four applicants through the same process, helping them strategically navigate their waitlists. Each of them ultimately secured admission to their top-choice school, along with several others. I hope to continue using my experience to help future applicants maximize their chances of success.

When I first thought of going to law school, I thought it was a terrible idea. Student loans, bad job outcomes, and attorneys’ frequent malaise. But then I did the research. I learned how to crack the code of law school admissions, and understood how to achieve a legal career without breaking the bank. I'll never forget the day I set foot on Harvard Law School's campus. I hadn't gone to a brand-name undergrad. It seemed like everyone else at the admitted students day knew each other; I didn't know anyone. But it didn't matter. You don’t need connections to get into law school; you need strategy. I am a federal clerk and a graduate magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. I also hold a BA from Bard College, and am a PhD student in the Harvard sociology department. I know first-hand how stressful the JD application process is, and how to successfully navigate it. I know what admissions committees look for. And I know how to present your credentials—and build them—the way successful applicants do. As a coach, my approach is bottom-up. If you’re at the beginning of your application process, let's start by assessing your goals, generating a list of programs from there, and then thinking strategically about how to maximize your chances of admission at each program you apply to.
