I worked closely with a law school admissions coach during my own application process, which gave me a deep understanding of admissions strategy, timing, and what law schools are truly looking for in successful applicants. I applied to nine law schools and was accepted to all of them. Through that process, I learned how to craft compelling personal statements, build cohesive application narratives, and strategically position experiences and goals to stand out. As a current law student, I enjoy helping applicants clarify their stories, strengthen their materials, and approach the admissions process with confidence and intention.

I earned my JD from Howard University School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of my class while serving on law review. After law school, I joined Paul, Weiss and later Kirkland & Ellis, advising leading private-equity sponsors on multi-billion-dollar M&A transactions, carve-outs, and complex fund formations. This combination of elite legal training and high-stakes deal work gives me a deep understanding of what top law schools and firms look for in applicants and future attorneys. Beyond credentials, I bring a coach’s mindset. I’ve mentored aspiring law students, junior attorneys, and MBA candidates on crafting standout applications, preparing for interviews, and positioning their career narratives for Big Law, clerkships, and JD/MBA paths. I grew up in South Tucson, Arizona, and I’m now a JD/PhD candidate at Yale Law School and the University of Oxford. For over ten years, I’ve helped students from first-gen, low-income, and immigrant backgrounds gain admission to top law schools and receive the most prestigious scholarships by turning their life stories into clear, compelling application narratives. As a Truman Scholar, Marshall Scholar, and Skadden Fellow, I’ve been through the fellowship and admissions process at the highest levels. I know how intimidating this process can feel, especially if you don’t come from backgrounds where there are few people to turn to for guidance. I’m here to help guide you through the admissions process and put forward the strongest version of your story.

I'm a Stanford Law School grad working in business operations at an edtech startup. I applied to law school while I was an undergrad studying electrical engineering and was fortunate enough to be admitted to a number of top law schools, including Stanford, Yale, Harvard, and Chicago (where I was offered the Rubenstein scholarship). I'd love to help you with your law school application process, from building an application strategy all the way through the happy (and stressful!) decision of where to attend. If you're coming from a technical background, or you're interested in pursuing a joint degree program, my experience will be especially useful — but I work with all kinds of applicants.

During my tenure at Stanford, I evaluated thousands of graduate applications annually and gained deep insight into how elite institutions assess candidates pursuing legal education combined with other disciplines.

Coupled with my experience coaching candidates for consulting recruiting (I worked at McKinsey & Company before graduate school), and I am able to provide insight to aspiring MBA students on the admissions process.
