Welcome to my profile! I earned my Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School, where I successfully navigated the law school application process on my own. With no career coaching, LSAT classes/tutoring, pre-law program/advisors, or mentors, I understand the challenges that aspiring law students face. As an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, one of the top law firms in the country, I bring real-world experience to my coaching. I have coached 5+ individuals in the past, helping them gain admission into their dream law schools. Daniel Khalessi served as President of the Stanford Law Review and is a startup and venture capital lawyer at Sidley Austin LLP in San Francisco. He is passionate about helping others turn their personal experiences into powerful stories and achieve their dreams. Having lost his Dad at a young age, Daniel understands what it is like to overcome challenges. A product of Bay Area public schools, Daniel earned a B.A. from Stanford, M.A. in Global Affairs from Yale, M.A. in Economics (China Studies) from Peking University, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as a Teaching Assistant in constitutional law and earned prizes for outstanding performance. He previously worked as a startup lawyer at Latham & Watkins LLP and as a China analyst at Harvard's Belfer Center.

I'm a Yale University graduate and incoming student of the Stanford Law School class of 2028. I served as a Marine Corps officer in the four years after graduating Yale where I learned how to lead teams and developed discipline and mental toughness . I have extensive experience working with students to get into college and graduate programs through the nonprofit Rawan Mentorship. I will leverage my experiences in undergraduate and graduate admissions to support you throughout the application process from devising an application strategy to putting the finishing touches on your essays.

Growing up as the son of two attorneys, the legal field is something that I have always had exposure to. Whether it was sitting in on mom's client meetings or hearing my dad's law school stories, I felt immersed in various aspects of the legal profession. As a result of their experiences, I have gained immense insight into not only the applicant perspective of law school admissions but also the real-world components that attorneys and admissions seek out in incoming candidates for their programs. In the 2024-2025 law school admissions cycle, I was admitted to 10 law schools, with 9 being a part of the T14 (Harvard, UChicago, and UPenn just to name a few!). Through my experiences of applying to schools and connecting with admissions officers across the country, I have a deeper understanding of key aspects to intertwine into your law school application. I am committed to helping law school become a more accessible option for individuals who feel that it is not attainable which is exactly why I want to help you achieve your dreams!

Welcome to my profile! As a current JD candidate at Harvard Law School, I bring firsthand experience and insights into the law school admissions process. When applying to law school, I questioned whether I could be a competitive applicant at T14 schools, as I earned my undergraduate degree from a public university that does not send many students to top-tier law schools. However, I believed I would bring a unique voice to some of these schools and spent months crafting my essays and other application components. I received numerous offers at T14 schools and was honored to join Harvard Law School's Class of 2026. I have helped many potential students with their applications and am a Harvard Law School Admissions Ambassador, acting as a liaison with potential and admitted students.
