I started out as a computer science student fully expecting to become an engineer, until I realized I was far more interested in why we were building things than just how. I pivoted into product management without ever doing a PM internship, learned the role through trial, feedback, and repetition, and eventually earned a spot in Salesforce’s highly competitive Associate Product Manager (APM) program.
