I’m qualified to coach because I’ve successfully navigated multiple competitive recruiting processes and made deliberate career moves across top-tier firms and I know how to teach that process to others. I began my career in FIG investment banking at UBS, receiving a return offer from the NYC summer analyst program and spending 1.5 years as a full-time analyst. I then transitioned to Hunter Point Capital, a private equity firm focused on GP stakes and NAV-based credit, where I completed a two-year associate program. Most recently, I joined Evercore as an experienced investment banking associate, following a targeted and efficient lateral process. Across these roles, I’ve earned offers from strong firms in both investment banking and private equity, which has given me a clear, practical understanding of how recruiting actually works - not just technically, but strategically. I’ve been on both sides of the table, including serving as an Evercore Superday interviewer, and I regularly help candidates refine resumes, master technicals, prepare for LBO and case interviews, and develop compelling behavioral narratives. My coaching focuses on helping people move through recruiting effectively and efficiently, avoiding wasted effort, focusing on what truly matters, and positioning themselves to win offers, because that’s exactly what I’ve done myself.

With a robust background in private equity and strategic finance, I bring a wealth of experience to help you navigate the competitive landscape of investment banking and private equity careers. As a former Private Equity Associate at Ara Partners, I worked on five portfolio companies and closed two platform investments in the energy / decarbonization sector, providing me with firsthand insights into the intricacies of the industry. My journey also includes roles at EIG (an infrastructure PE fund) and J.P. Morgan, where I honed my skills in energy infrastructure and investment banking. I am well-equipped to guide you through the nuances of private equity applications and interviews, especially if you have an engineering background. I am also a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA) and Princeton University, and closely worked with the admissions team on crafting an overall admissions strategy. I have over ten years of investment banking experience, spanning bulge bracket and boutique / middle market firms, such as JPMorgan, Blackstone (now PJT), and Lincoln International. I primarily worked on mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and restructuring engagements. After banking, I co-founded two companies and raised nearly $40m in VC funding. I currently work with start-ups and high-growth companies as a fractional CFO or consultant. I have also led investment banking new hire training programs, as well as on-campus investment banking interview prep seminars, for the last 8 years.

I secured an internship and a full-time offer at the most prestigious group at JP Morgan, all while coming from a non-target university. I continue to stay connected with my former colleagues, many of whom have become Managing Directors at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bank of America, as well as leading hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms.

I'm an investor with 10 years of experience across hedge funds, growth equity and investment banking. I started my career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking division for 2 years in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). I interned at GS in my junior year summer and received a full time offer. I then went on to spend the next year years in the hedge fund world with roles at Citadel and Echo Street (~$15bn long short and long only manager) focusing on both public equities and private growth equity investments. I graduated first class honors from Queen's University and held internships every year of college. My approach is personal.
