I have a lot of empathy for those charting out at the beginning of their career journeys. A fulfilling career isn't one size fits all and many people (including my earlier self) don't spend enough time doing the work to understand what energizes them. Crafting a fulfilling career (and ultimately life) takes intentional work with daily practice and I get a lot of personal satisfaction from helping clients put in place systems that help them make 1% improvements in this category every day.

I'm a Harvard grad and current Stanford MBA student with almost a decade of experience in a diverse range of roles - as an early startup employee, a self-employed startup consultant/freelancer, a venture capital analyst, and ultimately an exited startup COO (of a YCombinator-backed political software startup, one of the leading platforms in Democratic politics; acquired by ActBlue in 2025). I've made somewhat unconventional choices in my career - quitting jobs to become self-employed, taking risky roles at startups, etc. Along the way, I've enjoyed a great deal of success, and gained a lot of fulfillment by forging my own path. I've become an informal career coach/mentor for countless students over the last 10 years; I'm a sought-after mentor within the Harvard alumni community, well-regarded for my practical, honest advice about career decision-making and how to excel.
