I don't come from a typical cookie-cutter MBA pipeline. I went to a Tier-3 college in India that most people haven’t heard of. I worked in industries and companies where no one talked about Harvard, let alone planned for it. As an international applicant from an over-represented background, I knew the odds were stacked against me. I managed to get into Harvard Business School through intentional career choices and a clear story of impact. Along the way, I was incredibly lucky. People took time out of their lives to mentor me, review my applications, and believe in me when I didn’t fully believe in myself. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
