I had a phenomenal experience working with Marie. She helped raise my score from a 615 to a 695. Her teaching style is clear, effective, and engaging—I genuinely enjoyed our sessions together. The work was challenging, and with my busy work schedule, many of our meetings took place at 6 a.m., but she made the entire process easier and more enjoyable. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve the score I did without her support. We began with general lectures, but as we progressed, the lessons became more personalized. If you need someone to really give you a kick to take the application process seriously, or need some encouragement in your corner, Cristian would be a great coach for you. I was stuck in a rut, unsuccessfully getting any interviews in the current job market. With Cristian’s help, I left with a stellar resume that was 10x stronger than what I came in with, and the confidence to approach recruiting in a more aggressive approach. He’s extremely knowledgeable about how to strongly highlight your skills, and will give you the confidence to land interviews. I went from 0 interviews in a month to receiving 7 interviews in two weeks, of which I signed an offer with a promotion and a competitive comp package. Highly recommend connecting with Cristian, because every session will make you feel more confident in yourself and landing your next role.

He is deeply attentive, highly responsive, and clearly committed to continuously refining himself as a top-tier coach, something that’s evident both in his one-on-one work and in the results he delivers. His extensive experience with the Schwarzman Scholars application process, in particular, allows him to offer nuanced, practical insight into how to bring your story to life on paper and in interviews. I’m incredibly grateful for Michael’s advice, coaching, and time. His guidance played a meaningful role in helping me present my best self to the Schwarzman selection committee and during the interview process (and ultimately get accepted). I can’t recommend him highly enough to anyone navigating a competitive fellowship or graduate application.

I came to Dione with a simple goal in mind: get into my top choice business schools with integrity and purpose. She helped me do that with flying colors, landing me admits at Columbia, Wharton, and HBS. Dione is someone who is above all transparent. She was honest with me about my overrepresented background (consultant from California), but also recognized and quite honestly pulled out characteristics about my work and personal life I had trouble articulating but knew were important. She has a gifted ability of making people feel comfortable in their own truth while leveraging it for admission, and it's something I'm very grateful to have encountered. In a year as competitive as this one, I'm glad that I worked with Dione who helped me get into three Ivy League M7's, culminating in my matriculation to HBS this Fall. You will not regret working with Dione!

Emily was highly recommended from a few friends who worked with her in previous years, and I totally understand why. She spent time understanding my full story and gave me honest and insightful feedback on what parts of my story I should highlight for AdComs. I found her previous experience and relationships invaluable as I customized my applications to multiple top tier schools. She has been not only a strategic resource, but also a supportive friend throughout this (at times) frustrating application process. I was extremely satisfied with all of my applications and I could not imagine achieving the level of polish and authenticity I did without her guidance.

Shifu is an excellent coach. He is thoughtful, encouraging, and very detail oriented. I really liked his mock interview style. He guided me step by step, asked great follow-up questions, and provided very clear feedback on both my thinking process and communication. It was clear that he genuinely cares about helping candidates improve. I left the session with practical tips and more confidence. I highly recommend working with him if you are preparing for technical interviews.

I am a Leland coach myself (college prep, SAT tutor, essay writing) so I feel like I have a good sense for when a tutor is a good tutor. And I'll tell you that Marie is one of the best. I have recommended her to every single one of my friends and peers studying for the GMAT. I came to Marie after getting a 585 on my first attempt and after just 3 weeks of working together, I scored a 675 which places me in the 95+ percentile. She is organized and sharp and comes with a wealth of knowledge and resources. She caters to your learning ability and will help you meet your goals and deadlines. Absolutely worth every penny, I could not recommend her enough. She is an exceptional tutor and I do not say that lightly.
