Jay is fantastic. He created an open, supportive, and judgment-free space where I felt comfortable asking anything—from big-picture strategy to specific interview questions. He shared thoughtful insights and clear do’s and don’ts tailored to the TPM role I was interviewing for. His advice was practical, encouraging, and directly relevant to what I needed. I met Anna during an HBS Diversity Visit day. What immediately stood out to me about her was how open she was with her opinions and her own story. As I attended more events at HBS, I saw how Anna was frequently involved in events that helped potential applicants navigate the application process. Anna has put in the hours to understand the applicant journey by working together with the admissions team on various events. Her inherent passion for demystifying the MBA process for others makes her stand out even among other Leland coaches. Anna volunteered to conduct a mock HBS interview with me. Anna was very well prepared. Her questions were deeply personalized and challenging (and very reflective of my actual HBS interview). Her after-interview feedback was actionable. But most importantly, she was able to inspire in me a sense of confidence that I could take on even the most unexpected MBA interview questions. I left our mock interview feeling energized and heard! She helped me see what I could offer to programs and helped me approach my MBA interviews from a position of self-assurance. I strongly recommend Anna for all parts of the MBA process.

Danyal is extremely knowledgeable about research programs, graduate admissions, and course selection, and incredibly gifted at navigating complicated and competitive processes. He has been a driving force in my academic and professional achievements in the nine years I've known him. His guidance helped me land dream research assistantships and great graduate school acceptances, and taught me how to approach these opportunities in a more strategic and holistic fashion. He is kind, helpful, and very encouraging - he will have you dreaming big and ensure you achieve those dreams too.

I’ve known Nader ever since 2013, when I first moved to the US from Ireland. He’s the real deal. The guy’s got a heart of gold and a work ethic that just doesn’t quit—when he sets his mind to something, he bulldozes through any obstacle with grit and a smile. He’s always the one you can count on, whether it’s stepping up to help a friend or tackling a tough project, and he does it all with a kind of class that makes everyone around him feel respected. Proper Lad, is the best way to describe him.

Abu helped me turn my application into a compelling story, not just a résumé. He taught me how to bring out my voice in the personal statement and how to make my activities section stand out — from how to rank them strategically to showcasing my impact clearly. As a first-gen applicant, his support meant everything. He spent hours with me, from essay edits to in-depth interview prep, and never charged a thing. I ended up getting into top schools like Stanford, Hopkins, and Mayo. Honestly, I would’ve paid a lot for the kind of guidance he gave me freely.
