I’m originally from Sierra Leone and moved to the U.S. for school. As a first-generation college student in the U.S. and an international F-1 student, I had to navigate the admissions process with limited guidance and a lot of obstacles. From understanding how to stand out as a state school student to overcoming the unique challenges of applying to U.S. medical schools as a non-citizen, I learned how to turn my story into a strength. I love teaching and mentoring. It’s one of my strongest skills and greatest passions. We can talk about your life story, your career goals, your “why,” or anything else you’re working through. I’ve worked across a range of fields and pursued a wide variety of opportunities, so I’m excited to meet you wherever you are and help you take the next step forward.
