I would not have been accepted into GW Law without the immense help I had from Megan! I’ve known Megan since 2019 and she has been my LSAT tutor, law school admissions mentor, law school tutor, career mentor, and so much more. She has been invaluable throughout my pre law school and law school career and I trust her advice wholeheartedly. She cares deeply about her students and their success. Jenni’s mentorship was essential in getting me through my PhD and law school applications last year. She has an incredible ability to tailor her advice to each mentee all the while drawing on her own wealth of experiences. Truly, I cannot thank her enough. We began discussing the prospect of a dual degree back in my freshman year of college. Jenni’s patience in answering my questions, thoughtfulness in fielding my concerns, and extensive knowledge about the world of academia played a major role in convincing me to pursue both history and law. When it came time for me to craft my essays, she helped me clarify how my interests intertwined. Referencing her own application process, she coached me through how to approach each prompt in a way that made sense for my path. While remaining endlessly supportive, Jenni also flagged sections in my PhD statement of purpose that would benefit from refining. Now that I’ve begun that program (and as I look forward to starting my JD next year), I still think back to her advice. Beyond my applications, my vision of myself as a scholar is clearer thanks to her mentorship.
