About Faheem
Giving back to others by helping them with their professional development or academic aspirations has always given me a source of energy and has been an integral part of my life. Whether it is: ✅ Tutoring students in math and reading in high school ✅ Serving as an Honors Program Ambassador while an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management ✅ Interviewing MBA applicants while on the Student Admissions Committee at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management ✅ Helping with recruiting talent from my alma mater while working at Deloitte ✅ Professionally working with clients through their application journey the last ~3 years ✅ Responding to every informal outreach for resume/essay reviews and school selection strategy On a more personal level I love playing outdoor sports (volleyball and soccer are my current favorites), trying to visit every U.S National Park, keeping up with current events, and building things with my hands!
Why do I coach?
Coaching matters to me because I love seeing my friends and clients achieve their maximum potential. When I was applying, it took me a long time to understand how to go about "showcasing my personal brand" and "sharing my unique story" -- my goal is to help candidates overcome these barriers as quickly as possible. I bring a unique perspective as I was personally admitted into 6/7 of the school I applied to for my MBA including: Wharton (Penn), Kellogg (Northwestern), Booth (UChicago), Ross (Michigan), Haas (Berkeley), and Carlson (Minnesota). However, I have also professionally helped candidates with glaring weaknesses outside of the M7 and T15 range achieve above average admission results with scholarship success. If you feel like you are just an "average" candidate, need structure on your application approach, or are not sure how to craft a set of essays that will make you shine, I would be delighted to help you on your journey!
