I remember expressing just how badly I wanted to go to Booth when I had my first call with Ryan. I was at the point where I was working so hard for it and felt like I'd give my left leg if I had to - luckily Ryan made the admission possible and I got to keep my left leg. We went through every single itsy bitsy detail and he helped me tailor my application for Booth and leave absolutely no stone unturned (believe me there are a lot of 'stones' I would not have known about if I hadn't worked with Ryan). The greatest feeling came after turning my application in and finishing interviews - I knew that regardless of the outcome I had done literally everything possible to make a case for myself to the admin including an exhaustive list of extra steps that aren't necessarily apart of the application process. I felt at peace with whatever the result was, and eventually ecstatic when I got into Booth. I felt like Ryan was my Sherpa helping me hike my own small Everest as an underdog in the MBA world. I think every element of my application was crucial to getting into all the schools I applied to, and I know that Ryan helped me leverage every facet so I could get the most out of them.

I will always be grateful to Emily for the guidance and feedback she gave me through so many essay drafts, resume bullet points, interview questions, and on and on and on! At first I was really hesitant to pay a premium for a coach where there aren't any guaranteed results, however I gained crucial information and perspectives from Emily that really made the difference in my multi-faceted approach. I approached her hoping that I could get accepted to just one of the schools on my list but ended up with the blessing/curse of options due to her input.

Chas conducted a great hour-long dissection of what makes a successful “Why GSB?” essay. He covered methods of approaching this question, a game plan for structuring the essay, specific examples of past essays, and even a creative portion. Would recommend to other prospective applicants.

Camden's class on HBS essays was super helpful. Introduced great frameworks and lens to think about writing your essay.

Choosing to work with Dawn was the best decision I made in my deferred MBA application process. She understands what each school is looking for and crafted the best strategies to make me stand out as a candidate. Dawn’s approach is very unique among consultants (I met with several before choosing to work with her) because she does not use pre-constructed templates, but instead gets to know you and brainstorms a strategy for your entire application that is compelling and authentic.
