I worked with Alex Southmayd for many months in one-on-one tutoring sessions and he was EXCELLENT. He helped me understand the concepts and took time to address my specific areas of weakness. I took the GRE for entrance into an MBA program. When I started I was scoring in the low to mid 150s on both quant and verbal, and with the help of online resources and with my tutor Alex Southmayd, I was able to get my scores into the 160s on both quant and verbal. With respect to Alex, if I could sum him up in one word - amazing. He is incredibly personable, bright, funny, and everything you would want in a tutor. He is able to isolate your weak areas and work with you on developing strategies. I attribute my success to him, and would only recommend him to anyone looking to succeed at the GRE.
