Jessica tutored our two daughters. She treated them with respect, while bringing fun and humor into the process. They both looked forward to sessions with Jessica. She worked hard to understand how to most effectively teach each girl, including one who is blind. I think her skill at adapting to the needs of each individual student is one of her great strengths. Both daughters scored very well – including a perfect score on a section of the SAT – and attended the schools of their choice. More than once, when later studying for the LSAT, my daughter said she wished Jessica could be her tutor. Besides the academics, Jessica was that special kind of trusted advisor, separate from parents, that teenage children need. At the same time, she communicated well with us as parents.

Jessica is one of a kind. Her knowledge about standardized testing puts parents at ease. Her ability to communicate with young people allows them to be receptive to her teachings. And what's more significant is that Jessica truly loves what she does and this is why her students respond positively to her. As we went through the test prep stage for our children we felt that Jessica worked with our sons like she was a member of our family. We relied on Jessica not once, but twice. With each student her approach was the same, she asked us what we wanted to accomplish as a family, then she worked with both boys to make sure their goals were met. They were, and with her test prep support, we had two sons attend Stanford University. Jessica turned two students who historically balked at standardized test taking into confident and competitive test takers. Our family remains grateful and fortunate to have had Jessica on our team while we went through the college process.

There are so many wonderful qualities I could share about our families experience working with Jessica Ferraro in preparation for college entrance exam testing. She worked with 2 of my then high school kids who were very different as people and as learners. As for the very basics Jessica always showed up on time, was well prepared and professional , but also offered a human, holistic approach to each of them. She assessed their needs and addressed them with encouragement and very clear expectations. She pushed them to push themselves, to believe they were capable of achieving their goals and getting scores they didn’t think were within their reach. Ian’s increase in his ACT score was remarkable from his practice test to completion. He was subsequently accepted into every school he applied to and chose the University of Michigan. My daughters score also increased by dramatically and she walked into the ACT with confidence that was missing before beginning the process with Jessica. My kids have chosen to stay in touch with Jessica over the years and credit her with their test taking success. We think the world of her and honestly feel that anyone able to work with her should consider themselves incredibly lucky.

Jessica was the only positive thing about the SATs and ACTs. Treat your family to a better test prep experience. Your student will definitely have a better outcome! We had teenagers with different interests, learning styles, and attitudes towards test taking. Jessica worked well with all of them, helping each one excel.
