I wanted to go to business school, but had significant weaknesses in my application and was applying from a really competitive pool. Even though I had a plan on how I could address these weaknesses, I didn't have clarity on how I could position myself in my essays. Andy was pivotal in guiding me through the application process and helping me formulate a strategy that addressed my weaknesses and differentiated me from the rest of the pool at the same time. His passion, dedication, and openness was apparent from our first call and I had no doubt in my mind that we could work together on this. He helped my build upon my strengths and really showcase them in a clear, consistent manner. Prompt responses to draft versions, flexible schedule, late night conversations, and honest feedback were some of the characteristics of Andy's work ethic that made it possible for me gain admission on my first try to Johnson. However, the most crucial strength that Andy has is his demeanor. He realizes how grueling the admissions process is and that most of the applicants are juggling work and other tasks while applying. He managed to be open and honest in his feedback, yet keep my spirits up. And that made all the difference! Andy stuck with me throughout the application process and provided critical feedback/guidance when I was waitlisted. I can't thank him enough for his help and I am absolutely stoked that I'll be joining Johnson in the fall!

From our initial consultation, I could tell that Pamela was a consultant that I would work with well and that I would be able to achieve my goal. Not only were my instincts right, but she was more than I could ask for. Pamela is a wealth of experience and someone that could guide me through the MBA process. She shaped her consulting approach to meet my needs and desires. Her established processes and frameworks helped me formulate and frame my experiences into a relevant personal story that would resonate with admission committees. Pamela took a conversational approach when providing honest feedback. We were able to have constructive discussions on how to create that personal story, both offering and bouncing ideas off each other. Each time we talked, I felt that her feedback always came at the right time, ranging from celebrating the small wins to pointing out areas of improvement. Obstacles came up and Pamela was able to adjust the plans with ease. Her flexibility during this process sparked confidence in myself and my abilities. Without her guidance and direction, I wouldn’t be able to say that I was admitted into Columbia, my number 1 choice. I strongly recommend anyone looking at MBA programs and a consultant to work with Pamela!

The MBA application process - with the help of my excellent consultant Andy Pelletier - was incredibly revealing and rewarding in terms of self-discovery - regardless of the school I ended up choosing. With Andy's probing, pushing, and constructive criticizing, I learned so much about myself and the person I want to become - which not only helps me personally define my goals and a pathway to get there, but also helped immensely with crafting my applications. Andy was attentive and timely. He responded to my drafts very quickly. His advice was effective & efficient - he always started high level with what messages/themes are most valuable to get across to AdCom, then dove deeper to help me organize my thoughts around that central message. I am on the young end of the MBA spectrum, so I wasn't really sure if an acceptance anywhere this year was feasible (I was half expecting to have to reapply next year). Clearly Andy's help worked, as I got into Berkeley Haas (one of my top choices!!) and received a $100k Forte Fellowship to Cornell Johnson! I am also on the waitlist at MIT Sloan, and Andy quickly and thoroughly helped me craft a campaign to improve my chances of getting in off the waitlist. Andy legitimately wants you to succeed. I would definitely recommend working with Andy Pelletier on your MBA admissions applications!

Parth did an excellent job helping me put together my law school applications. We worked together to clearly organize and edit my personal statement and various supplemental essays. He was knowledgeable about the entire law school admissions process and allowed me to feel confident submitting my applications. I would recommend Parth’s services to anyone who is looking to substantially improve their application materials and increase their chances of admission to law school.

For round 1, I only applied to HBS and didn't use a consultant. I was well aware of consultants, but felt that I wanted to do the process on my own. I felt that using a consultant would make my application unauthentic. I didn't get in. For round 2, I decided that I needed the help. I did my research, was paired up with Andy, and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. I was admitted to Stanford and Wharton. Andy was incredibly helpful in crafting my story. To my surprise, my application did not lose any authenticity. In fact, I felt like Andy was able to help me better tell my own story and ultimately helped give my application depth and personality. I picked Andy because of his experience in writing and editing, and it paid off. He always gave great edits and feedback in a very timely manner. I really can't say enough positive things about Andy and the help that he gave me. He's a great guy and a great consultant. Coming from someone who consciously decided not to use a consultant for Round 1, the truth is in the facts. I was dinged on my own with HBS and was 2/2 with Andy's help.

I’m attending my dream school (MIT Sloan) on a scholarship thanks to Pamela’s support! I really appreciated how Pamela cared so much for my candidacy – going above and beyond what I would expect from my admissions consultant. Like a true mentor, she kept me on track, made me excited to receive feedback, and motivated me when I didn’t think I can do better. Pamela encouraged me to flesh out what is uniquely my story. She made sure my writing was clear for an American audience, while still retaining my own voice as an international student. In the end, I was confident and proud that I submitted the best possible version of my applications. Despite the small budget, I was working with, Pamela made sure to maximize the time we had together for as many outputs as possible. She helped me figure out which parts of my applications (and for which schools) need more support, and which ones I can polish on my own. I highly recommend working with Pamela! She will make you shine.

Pamela’s candid and caring nature is what got me into INSEAD! Unlike most other consultants I had enquired with, Pamela wanted to be as candid as possible and not falsely inflate anything just to get a client. I realized this candidness would help me make the largest improvements and get the best chances possible! It did. I prepared for my materials very late and made so many mistakes, I thought I would get scolded by Pamela, but what came was nothing but care and encouragement. She extended our contract twice just to accommodate for my needs and mistakes, she wanted to make sure I submitted the best application possible for INSEAD and clearly, I did. Furthermore, during the application process, I had an interview with a top firm, not only did she accommodate this but also gave me tips and we ran mocks that helped me immensely, clearly, she goes above and beyond to ensure her clients receive everything she can possibly offer. Beyond all this, Pamela is a great and easy person to talk with. She has not only helped me with my application but also improved my writing and communication skills, one of which is how to be precise. Since I know she will be reading this, I will just say it would have been 5x longer before! But in all seriousness, she’s amazing!

Long before I started the MBA application process, I knew that I wanted to attend MIT-Sloan. Even though it was my top choice, I was reluctant to apply, given Sloan’s intimidating acceptance rate and the weaknesses in my application profile – sub par undergrad GPA and zero extracurricular involvement. While I was proud of my professional work experience in big tech, I knew it was only valuable to my application in so far as my ability to tell a compelling story. To stand any chance of getting in to Sloan, my application essays and letters of recommendation would have to be exceptional. When I started writing my initial drafts, I really struggled to find my story – faced with broad essay prompts, yet tight word limits. I spent a few weeks shoving as many of my professional accomplishments into 500 words as I could, but it came out sounding scattered, superficial, impersonal. I went to a couple of friends for their thoughts—first, an English teacher and then later a colleague–but neither had the sort of advice I needed to give my essays the dimension they were missing. A colleague recommended that I try an “admissions consultant.” I was hesitant to go this route, after hearing stories of how impersonal and expensive these services could be. When I finally spoke with Farrell, she must’ve sensed my hesitation, so she offered to read through my material before I committed to working with her. Her feedback was so eye-opening and honest. I found it hard to understand why I hadn’t seen it before. After hours of video chat, last-minute proofreads, and candid feedback, I’d come to learn that Farrell has a unique talent for framing context, probing with questions, and smashing through writer’s block to bring out the best in her clients. I’m a procrastinator by nature, but Farrell held me to relentlessly high standards while keeping me motivated and on track. In the end, she helped me transform my essays, resume, optional video, and letters of recommendation into a story of my own personal journey. Best of all, I am so proud that the work is my own! Farrell saw that I had it in me all along–I just needed help finding it. My dream of attending MIT-Sloan is now a reality.

Simply put, Farrell goes above and beyond what I would ever expect from an MBA prep coach. When I went to her, I had a resume that showed no impact and provided unclear, confusing details of my roles. Farrell was able to show me ways that I had contributed to my company that I had not even realized. She opened my eyes to how to quantify impact and describe problems I had solved in language that would make sense to even people outside of my industry. Apart from working wonders on my resume, Farrell helped me understand more about my professional aspirations. When I first started working with her, I had no real long or short term career goals. She was tough and critical of my inability to articulate what my goals were and motivated me to figure it out. She pushed me to self-reflect and determine goals that aligned with my natural abilities and interests. She was essentially a life coach for me. She helped me craft cohesive essays that told a story of me as a candidate. I had a GMAT score in the low 600s, but with her help, I was able to get in Booth. I could tell that she truly cares about her clients and thinks about them even outside of scheduled appointments. She was constantly shooting me quick emails, interesting job postings, resources about the school I was interested in. When I was getting close to deadline, she went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and get my applications where they needed to be. I would 100% recommend Farrell to anybody seeking a coach.

Akbar coached me from the start of my MBA application until I received my acceptance letter - he was an invaluable coach and motivator during my application process. Akbar is different from other Veteran Coaches: Not only is he a great teacher, but he is also an empathetic and active listener. In addition to the usual GMAT and interview preparation, he also spent significant energy dealing with the intangibles of an MBA interview application: the burnout of continuous GMAT study before applications, the imposter syndrome during application submissions, and the anxiety after applications. I could not have imagined applying for MBA programs without his coaching.
