I was utterly blown away by Susie's professionalism, knowledge, and ability to guide my son in writing his BYU application essays. Emily was instrumental to my successful application process (I was accepted by each school I applied to). Her experience with the process shines through and her insights/guidance provide great comfort as you navigate what can be an anxiety-inducing process. She gives enough leash so that you can accomplish tasks on your own timeline and let your own ideas/voice drive the essay process, but also takes the time to get to know you on a level deep enough for her to make insightful recommendations whether regarding where to apply, which aspects to add to your resume (and which to remove), or who you should ask to write a waitlist LoR. Emily's counsel was invaluable as I navigated all kinds of difficult questions and was the steady hand throughout my entire application process.

Before starting my MBA application, I spoke to at least 10 admission consultants. Dawn stood out to me because of her consistently good reviews and also because I felt she was very straightforward while analyzing my profile. My experience with Dawn was extremely positive. I felt so comfortable discussing all my personal stories with her. Dawn has a strategic bent of mind to use the stories and help form strong narrative for the essays. She helped me distinguish my profile which was especially important given I come from an overcrowded background (Finance / India). Her way of working with the candidates is very interesting. After receiving my acceptance to HBS, I immediately sent a note to Dawn: ”DAWN, WE DID IT!!!”. I say ”we” because I truly could not have rendered such a thoughtful and thorough application without Dawn's remarkable guidance. From the beginning of the written application through the conclusion of my interview, Dawn provided clear, actionable, and insightful guidance that I would have been completely lost without. I never thought I'd be the one to say this, but I actually enjoyed the application process as I learned more and more about myself in my sessions with Dawn. Dawn's greatest strength - amongst many - is her ability to look granularly at every single element of an application (literally, line by line of an essay if she needs to) while also taking a holistic approach to ensure a compelling story is told for the admissions committee. Her guidance is also a masterclass in keeping the application process moving and progressing: she always keeps you informed of timelines, what progress needs to be made, and why she is recommending certain edits. When I had my intro call with Dawn, there were a few minutes of pleasantries followed by a tactical discussion of how we would succeed - after those short moments, I knew Dawn was best-in-class. For anyone thinking about applying to business school, I have two pieces of advice: 1) hire an admissions consultant, and 2) make sure it's Dawn. I am starting at Harvard for my MBA and my Public Policy Degree thanks in large part to Andy Pelletier. I was a non-traditional MBA candidate and unsure how competitive I would be. Andy encouraged me and helped me hone my narrative. He was willing to push me to identify the key elements of my stories and to clearly communicate who I am, not just what I have accomplished. He was incredibly responsive, turning around his feedback quickly, and working around my schedule. When it came time for interviews, I did not hesitate to call Andy to prepare. He provided me with key feedback and helped me go to into the interviews with confidence. I would absolutely work with Andy again.

Every law school says that to apply you need an LSAT score, a personal statement, and a strong resume. No school ever warns that you also need stamina, emotional perseverance, and unwavering faith. My decision to work with Parth was undoubtedly the best choice I could have made for myself as an applicant and future law student. During my first consultation with Parth, he was incredibly kind and candid about my LSAT score. It was his open and truthful analysis of my application numbers that got me to where I am today. He followed up with a game plan on how to brainstorm ideas for a personal statement and effectively study for the LSAT. Additionally, after each school had responded to my applications, Parth was my first phone call. He embodied both a friend and a consultant. He was invested in my goals and me as an individual. From that initial consultation, I immediately recognized his skills as a student and attorney. He took my personal statement to another level, and it was my first glimpse of his concise legal writing skills. He put me in touch with his peers at various law schools so that I could receive a wide scope of advice. Through Parth’s detailed attention towards my career, I am now at my dream law school. My personal statement was also hand-selected by my law school to qualify me into the leadership honors program. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Parth and I continue to value having him as a friend and mentor.

Allie helped me from start to finish with my applications and I couldn’t have done it without her. To begin, she really helped me identify what exactly it was that I wanted out of business school, and how business school resources would align to my career goals. She then provided such useful and clear guidance about the schools I was considering, and we were able to craft essays that were really tailored to my goals but also individualized and specific to each school. We operated on a tighter timeline, but she made sure to carve out time to iterate with me and get my applications across the finish line. I highly recommend working with Allie!

Going into the MBA application process, I was struggling to synthesize the different experiences of my professional and personal life into a cohesive and natural story. Alex stepped in and was extremely helpful in helping me build my story. We went through an exhaustive list of experiences and brainstormed on whether each experience deserved some essay “real estate”. More importantly, Alex helped me uncover some experiences that I originally thought were unimportant, that turned out to be a powerful, core element of my essay story. Alex also helped me understand how admission officers think, which in turn helped me tailor the language of my essays and application for an admission officer reader, and ensure that I didn’t go on irrelevant tangents. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience and recommend the consultant to any prospective MBA candidate – the investment is well worth it.
