Michael was one of the most helpful and caring people during my application process. As a former Community College student, I felt comfortable working with Michael and sharing my story. Michael's experience was vital to finding and highlighting my talents and unique niche that helped differentiate my experiences from others in my essays. He shared his passion for music, which motivated me to write about my devotion and excitement for sports, which resulted in my favorite college essay.

I was nervous before meeting Michael. Mainly because he is an established Berkeley Haas student and I thought I was just a disturbance in his busy schedule. However, Michael was an amazing mentor! He made me feel welcomed the first time we met. He also gave me constructive criticism regarding my essays while still keeping the whole interaction both friendly as professional. Additionally, the insights he gave about my Haas supplemental essays are gold! He really understood what he was doing and delivered so much value to my application process. I am beyond glad to have met Michael.

I was admitted to Stanford’s Ph.D. program in CS this year and I am honored to be counted in the 3% of admitted students. I was also admitted to my other dream schools, Yale, Penn, and Columbia. In the past year of working with Debby, I have always admired her professional answers. Every document has been revised countless times and she has been patient with my questions. The help I received from Debby was very personal. For example, in the decision to change majors, Debby helped me analyze the pros and cons of doing so, and how to accumulate related experience, and she let me know how to highlight my advantages and express myself during the application process. Stanford GSB's “What matters most to you, and why?” is one of the most difficult essays I have to write for my MBA applications. After dozens of iteration, I thought I had come up with a great essay. Through friend's connection, I contacted Roy and asked him for feedback. He did not sugar coat and told me that my answer to the question was too generic and did not demonstrate why it matters most to me. It is Roy's critical feedback that led me to dive deeper and came up with an essay that got me into both Stanford and Harvard. I cannot thank him enough for his help!

Ben is a fantastic coach and I can't recommend working with him enough! I worked with Ben when I was considering whether or not to apply to an MBA program. During our sessions together, not only did he guide me in evaluating my priorities, but he also provided me with tactical feedback on how to work towards each goal. Each time I shared a roadblock, Ben helped me break it down and transform it into an opportunity. Aside from thinking through the MBA program (and as an added plus!), Ben gave me valuable feedback on how to navigate various work and personal situations. In one particular session, Ben empowered and gave me the tools to confront a coworker that I had a conflict with. Ben is very thoughtful with his advice and he genuinely takes the time to make sure the sessions are tailored to help you!

I recently worked with Debby to complete my doctoral applications, and I am so pleased with the results-an offer of admission with full funding. Initially, I had so many questions about how to find the best programs for my needs. Debby answered all of them and continued that level of support throughout the entire process. She's very flexible and easy to get a hold of. After our many conversations I realized how well connected and knowledgeable she is. My only regret is that I didn't contact her sooner! I especially appreciated her help on perfecting my personal statements, an element of the process I knew I would struggle with. If you're interested in making the most informed choices and putting your best application forward I suggest working with Debby.

Roy helped me prepare for my Stanford GSB interview. Now, I am his classmate at GSB! After the round 1 admission results came out in 2020, I joined a live streaming event hosted by Roy, sharing his successful application experience. He got mutiple offers, including my dream school, Stanford. I realized that there were some strategic insights into the interview process that I could learn from Roy. Thus, I reached out to him for a mock interview. His insights greatly inspired me on how to better prepare for the interview, what kind of people GSB wants and how to highlight my strengths. Luckily, we spent two wonderful years together, the most meaningful years in my life. Thanks, Roy! I hope Roy can help more people to join the GSB community in the future.

Charlotte was the best coach I could ever ask for during the MBA Admissions Process. She is warm yet direct, and has a gift for weaving prior work experiences together with future career goals to craft a compelling admissions package.
