Carla performed extremely well within her role during the years she reported to me at Stanford. She readily and easily established credibility with her internal clients (predominately clinicians and researchers within the medical school community), and provided valued counsel to them as they evaluated options and developed strategies for advancing their careers. In addition to being a stellar professional adviser, she was also highly effective as a point of contact for external organizations (biotechnology, device, consulting, and professional services firms), and developed collaborations with them to successfully deliver both large-scale events and more individual, customized programs. She brings a well-balanced presence to the workplace, along with great dependability, competence, and willingness to take on new challenges.
