Bryan was instrumental in guiding me through my educational and career journey. When I first worked under him as an undergraduate student in the business school, his top priority was getting to know me and helping me define my goals. When I was unsure about my post-grad path, he helped me weigh my options and even bought me my first LSAT book. When I eventually pivoted away from law school, he remained supportive and helped me refocus, ultimately guiding me toward a graduate program that has since equipped me with an invaluable skill set. I would not be where I am today—working in a role I enjoy at a company I admire—without his unwavering support and care from day one.

Bryan is an incredible mentor that helped me apply for jobs during my undergraduate career at the University of California, Irvine and also helped me tremendously with my graduate application for PhD programs. Bryan played a pivotal role in my acceptance to a Neuroscience and Behavior PhD program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Bryan helped motivate me in my journey of applying for college despite being a little unmotivated. He helped me revise my essays and give my tips on what important information I should add, as well as what I can take out, as some parts of my essay felt more like filler information than important details. He encouraged me to believe in myself not only for college, but my ability to write out thorough, well formatted applications that presented my level of education and appeal as a candidate. I extremely, highly recommend Bryan and am very grateful for his help in getting me on the right path. It really has gone a long way :)

Alan was one of my early managers at McKinsey and our first project together was a fast-paced strategy in the depths of COVID. Alan was incredibly supportive and made sure the team had fun- even while we were all stuck at home. He is deeply caring, positive, and hard working. He appreciates the importance of the little moments (a call after a hard week, a slack after a great meeting) and is always willing to listen.

Lexi has been an incredible coach and mentor, and I’m truly grateful for her support. When I began the case prep process, I had no idea where to start. Thanks to Lexi’s guidance, I not only learned what a case interview entails, but also how to structure my thinking and identify key areas for improvement. Her mentorship made a real difference, and I’m so appreciative of everything she’s helped me with.

Alan was a great coach as I worked with him to explore my exit from McKinsey & Company. He pushed my thinking as I wasn't 100% sure what I was looking for in a new role and helped me distill it to 3 principles: (1) a great manager, (2) a role in which I would learn something new (3) sharp teammates that would be able to teach me new skills. I'm glad to say that this framing was an excellent way to approach my job search, and I've found a role that offers me all 3 (as well as a much better WLB)
