Chase was incredibly instrumental in my deferred MBA admissions process, ultimately resulting in my admission to Stanford GSB! When I was originally connected with Chase, I had ~1.5 weeks until my deferred MBA interview, and I was—to put it frankly—very underprepared to navigate the entire process. From the moment I spoke with Chase on the phone, he exuded positivity and support; it is so clear, from every interaction I had with him, that he cares so deeply about uplifting those around him in any capacity. He offered to call with me basically every other day leading up to my interview; he also sent me encouraging texts before the interview and followed up immediately afterward. During these calls, he provided me with constructive feedback on our mock interviews and offered insight into how he tackled similar questions/obstacles during his own application process. Above all, he deeply cared about getting to know my personal story and figuring out how I could present my best self to the interviewer. As we all know, there are many things that must go right in an interview for it to resonate with the interviewer. Insightful, great answers to possible questions are just one aspect that Chase helped with. Arguably more importantly, Chase was incredibly encouraging and supportive, calming my nerves and always buoying me up with his true, genuine belief in me (not only during our calls, but also offline over text). When I was admitted to Stanford GSB, the first person who called to congratulate me was Chase. He was such a cheerleader throughout and after the process, and I am so lucky to have had his support during this arduous, anxiety-inducing cycle. I honestly don't think I would have been able to conquer this interview without him; I offer my utmost support for him as a Leland Coach because I know he will be able to impact more lives on a broader scale.

Steve is an awesome coach and an even better guy. He helped me place into a top MM in NYC from a mega non-target with a <3.5gpa. The knowledge he brings to the table in terms of recruiting is vast. I can’t say I’d be at this firm without him — a truly incredible coach and mentor.

Josh is honestly the reason I was able to secure the Tech Risk internship I’d been striving for. From teaching me how to navigate the industry to helping put me in contact with the right people, Josh gave me the tools to succeed. He is such a patient and caring person, and has an inept ability to understand others.
