I worked extensively with Joel while at Stanford and can say that he is a truly gifted coach. You don't need to learn how to "become" like the people you see as successful. You need to understand yourself deeply (including knowing what your unique strengths are), and to learn how to lean into your strengths to unlock your unique leadership style. Joel is talented at asking questions that lead to truly deep introspection, and I came out of our sessions filled with a deeper sense of confidence, purpose, and direction. He is also an inspiring person, and I got a lot of energy from hearing about his career path. I can't recommend working with Joel strongly enough - anyone would be lucky to have him as a coach.
