Michael played a key role in helping me prepare for investment banking recruiting. He has a very clear understanding of what top banks are looking for and helped me align my preparation accordingly. We worked through my story in detail, making sure it was both concise and compelling. He also helped me significantly improve my technical explanations - not just getting to the right answer, but explaining things clearly and confidently. His mock interviews were some of the most helpful prep I did. They were realistic, fast-paced, and focused on the kinds of questions that actually come up in interviews. He also gave great advice on networking strategy and how to approach different firms. Thanks to his help, I felt much more prepared going into interviews and performed at a much higher level. I’d strongly recommend working with him.

Michael made a huge difference in my recruiting process. I came in with a decent understanding of the basics, but I didn’t really know how to position myself or approach things strategically. He helped me connect all the pieces from networking to interview prep to how I told my story. He’s very thoughtful in how he works with people. Instead of just giving you answers, he pushes you to think through things yourself and figure out what actually makes you stand out. That was especially helpful for me coming from a less traditional background. He was also great for mock interviews - they felt very real and forced me to improve quickly. Beyond that, he gave really practical advice on firm selection, outreach, and even how to handle offer decisions, which I hadn’t gotten anywhere else. Overall, he brings a level of clarity and structure that’s hard to find. I’d definitely recommend working with him if you’re going through IB or PE recruiting.

I came into the private equity recruiting process feeling super lost on how to approach it. I was not sure about whether or not I initially wanted to recruit so I missed the first wave of recruiting and found myself in "off-cycle" recruiting which in many ways was both more difficult, unstructured, and immensely more drawn out than the traditional private equity recruiting process. Michael was really instrumental in helping me to create my own personal plan to approach recruiting with. Together we devised my networking guide, my list of target firms, my headhunter strategy, and my technicals prep. Throughout my interviews, I was able to rely on Michael for support on various aspects of the process from behaviorals to feedback on case studies. I was ultimately able to land several offers and it was in large part because of Michael's meticulous support!! I am a huge fan of his services!

The biggest thing Michael helped me with was bridging the gap between knowing the material and actually performing in interviews. He pushed me to articulate answers more clearly and think through problems step by step, which is exactly what my interviewers were looking for. I ended up landing offers at Evercore, Centerview, and PJT, and his coaching was a major reason why. Definitely recommend!!
