Expert support on the most important part of every college application: the Common App and the Personal Statement. The Common App is the foundation that every selective school sees, and the Personal Statement is the only essay all of them read. This package makes sure that foundation is as strong as it can possibly be. We'll begin with a comprehensive intake and narrative discovery session, where I work with you to surface the stories, themes, and angles that make your application distinctive. From there, we go deep on the Personal Statement: topic exploration, brainstorming, drafting, and unlimited revisions until the essay is final. Most students go through 5–8 substantive drafts before landing on the right version, and I work alongside them through every round. Alongside the Personal Statement, I provide full guidance on the rest of the Common App: the activities list (where every character matters), the Additional Information section, resume crafting where needed, and recommendation letter strategy, including who to ask, when to ask, and how to brief recommenders so your letters work in concert with the rest of the application. We'll also talk through ED/EA/RD timing for your top schools so the strategy is locked in before deadlines hit. Before any school submission, I do a final Common App review to catch anything that needs polish. This package does not include school-specific supplemental essays, those are available as add-ons, or you can upgrade to Strategy & Execution or Comprehensive Application Support, in which case the full cost of this package is creditable toward the upgrade if booked within 30 days.

Coaching delivered via live sessions and .
I take a structured, no-fluff approach to coaching. Our work together combines live 1-on-1 video sessions for strategy and substantive drafting work with asynchronous review of essay drafts, application materials, and direct messaging access for time-sensitive questions. On the Personal Statement specifically, I work iteratively. Most students go through 5–8 substantive drafts. I don't believe in "fixing" essays in two passes, the best Personal Statements come from real exploration, real revision, and the willingness to throw out a draft that isn't working. I'll be direct with feedback, but I'll also be your partner through every round until the essay is genuinely strong. My goal is to make sure that the foundation of your application, the part every school will read, is as strong as the rest of your work demands.
Engagement timeline: This package is designed to be completed across approximately 12–16 weeks, ideally beginning in late spring or early summer of senior year (or earlier for ED/EA candidates). Engagements started later in the cycle can absolutely be accommodated, but earlier starts produce stronger Personal Statements. Response time: I respond to all messages within 24 hours on weekdays, and within 48 hours on weekends. During peak season (August–November), most responses are same-day. Live sessions: Live 1-on-1 video sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times via my calendar. Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes. Cancellations require 24 hours notice; no-shows or late cancellations count toward the engagement. Personal Statement revisions: Revisions on the Personal Statement are unlimited until the essay is final. There is no cap on draft rounds, my commitment is to keep working until the essay is genuinely strong. Scope: This package covers the Common App and Personal Statement only. School-specific supplemental essays are not included and are available as add-ons or via package upgrades. Coalition App, ApplyTexas, UC Application, and other non-Common App platforms are not covered under this package. Upgrade credit: The full $6,000 cost of this package is creditable toward Strategy & Execution or Comprehensive Application Support if upgraded within 30 days of purchase. Refunds: Once work has begun (intake session completed and Personal Statement work started), this package is non-refundable. Unused hours remain available for the duration of the application cycle.

College Admissions Expert | Columbia MBA | 16+ Yrs of Ivy & Top 25 Admits
I've spent the last 16+ years helping ambitious students get into the country's most competitive colleges, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, MIT, UChicago, NYU, and UCLA. Across 300+ college applicants, 95% have been admitted to at least one of their top-choice schools, and over 75% have placed at Top 25 universities. I work best with students who are coachable, motivated, and ready to put in real work - students who arrive with strong but scattered material and need help putting it all together. That's where I add the most value: helping students find a clear narrative across their application, build a school list that's strategic (not aspirational), and write essays that actually sound like them. The goal is applications that feel inevitable instead of cobbled together. I work with students from freshman through junior year, with tailored support depending on where they are in the process: early profile-building and direction in 9th and 10th grade, strategic execution in 11th, and full application support heading into senior year. The earlier we start, the more leverage we have. I graduated from NYU and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, which gives me a current, first-hand perspective on what selective US adcoms are actually looking for. My career started in test prep and admissions consulting in Singapore, where I helped expand the company I worked for into Shanghai before returning to New York to found my own practice. I work with both US-based students and international applicants navigating the US system for the first time, particularly the kinds of students who often have the strongest stories but the hardest time articulating them. If you want a structured, strategic partner for your college process, let's talk.
