The earliest, highest-leverage work in college admissions, long before applications open. This package is a structured, ongoing partnership for 9th and 10th graders (and their families) who understand that strong applications are built years before they're submitted. We begin with a comprehensive intake and goal-setting session with both the student and parents, where we map out a long-term plan tailored to your student's interests, strengths, and ambitions. From there, we meet bi-weekly across 9th and 10th grade for 1-on-1 coaching sessions focused on the work that actually moves the needle in those years: course selection and academic rigor, extracurricular strategy that prioritizes depth over breadth, summer programming decisions (research, internships, and passion projects), and an early roadmap for standardized testing. Throughout the engagement, parents stay informed through quarterly progress reviews, and your student has direct messaging access between sessions for time-sensitive questions: a course selection deadline, a summer program application, an opportunity that comes up unexpectedly. The work is designed to compound: every decision in 9th and 10th grade builds toward a coherent, intentional profile by the time applications open in junior year. When your student transitions into junior year, this package transitions seamlessly into a full application package (Strategy & Execution, Comprehensive Application Support, or All-Inclusive Partnership) - with no restart, no new intake process, and no stranger taking over. You've already got me, and I already know your student.

An emerging through-line for your student's application narrative — well before junior-year strategy work begins
Quarterly written progress summaries for parents

This is one of the longest-arc packages I offer, and the work is designed to feel like a real ongoing partnership rather than a transactional series of meetings. We meet live for bi-weekly 1-on-1 video sessions — typically 45–60 minutes — with both student and parent involved at key strategic moments and student-only sessions in between. Between sessions, your student has direct messaging access for time-sensitive questions. My approach across the early years is honest and developmental. I'm not in the business of telling 9th graders to "do more activities." I'm interested in what your student actually cares about, where their real strengths are, and how to build a profile that reflects who they're becoming. The students I work best with in this package are coachable, motivated, and ready to be intentional about how they spend their high school years. Parents stay informed through quarterly written progress reviews and direct check-ins as needed. My goal across the engagement is for your family to feel like every decision, from course selection to summer plans to testing, is being made with a clear long-term strategy, not in reaction to whatever the latest college-admissions article said.
Engagement timeline: This package is structured as an ongoing partnership across 9th and 10th grade, typically 12–24 months in duration. Engagements can begin at any point during 9th or 10th grade. Session cadence: Approximately every other week 1-on-1 live video sessions, scheduled at mutually convenient times. Both student-and-parent and student-only sessions are used at different points in the engagement, depending on what we're working on. Hours: Total engagement is typically 25–40 hours across 12–24 months, including live sessions, parent check-ins, async review of materials, and direct messaging time. Response time: I respond to all messages within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours on weekends. Quarterly parent reviews: Written progress summaries are sent to parents every three months throughout the engagement. Cancellation policy: Sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellation. No-shows or late cancellations count toward the engagement. Transition into application packages: When your student enters junior year, this package transitions seamlessly into your chosen application package (Strategy & Execution, Comprehensive Application Support, or All-Inclusive Partnership). The Foundation Package is a standalone product and is not creditable against the cost of those packages, but the relationship and accumulated context carry forward fully. Pricing: Final pricing within the $8,000–$12,000 range is determined at intake based on engagement duration, session frequency, and scope. Confirmed pricing is set before any work begins. Refunds: This package may be refunded on a pro-rated basis for unused hours within the first 60 days of engagement. After 60 days, the package is non-refundable.

College Admissions Expert | Columbia MBA | 16+ Yrs of Ivy & Top 25 Admits
I've spent the last 16+ years helping ambitious students get into the country's most competitive colleges, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Columbia, MIT, UChicago, NYU, and UCLA. Across 300+ college applicants, 95% have been admitted to at least one of their top-choice schools, and over 75% have placed at Top 25 universities. I work best with students who are coachable, motivated, and ready to put in real work - students who arrive with strong but scattered material and need help putting it all together. That's where I add the most value: helping students find a clear narrative across their application, build a school list that's strategic (not aspirational), and write essays that actually sound like them. The goal is applications that feel inevitable instead of cobbled together. I work with students from freshman through junior year, with tailored support depending on where they are in the process: early profile-building and direction in 9th and 10th grade, strategic execution in 11th, and full application support heading into senior year. The earlier we start, the more leverage we have. I graduated from NYU and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, which gives me a current, first-hand perspective on what selective US adcoms are actually looking for. My career started in test prep and admissions consulting in Singapore, where I helped expand the company I worked for into Shanghai before returning to New York to found my own practice. I work with both US-based students and international applicants navigating the US system for the first time, particularly the kinds of students who often have the strongest stories but the hardest time articulating them. If you want a structured, strategic partner for your college process, let's talk.
