Jessica’s MBA Qualifications
Welcome to my page! I'm a current Stanford MBA student and former founder who is passionate about helping ambitious professionals achieve their admissions goals. Having navigated both the startup world and business school admissions myself, I bring a unique perspective to coaching that combines real-world experience with insider knowledge of what admissions committees are looking for. Prior to attending the GSB, I co-founded and successfully exited Frönen, a non-dairy ice cream company, after raising $2.5M+ and securing national distribution with major retailers like Whole Foods and Walmart. This entrepreneurial journey taught me how to craft compelling narratives, demonstrate measurable impact, and articulate vision under pressure—skills that directly translate to creating standout MBA applications. Currently, I serve as Co-President of Stanford's Entrepreneurship Club and am Managing Partner of Dorm Room Fund's West Coast team, keeping me connected to the latest trends in business and startup ecosystems. My professional experience spans venture capital, startup investing, and operational leadership, giving me diverse perspectives to draw from when working with you. I am excited to work with both traditional and non-traditional candidates to help them connect the dots in their personal narratives. Whether you need help with school selection, crafting your story, essay writing, or interview prep, I'm here to help you present the best version of yourself to admissions committees through authentic and engaging storytelling.

About Jessica
I'm an MBA candidate at Stanford Graduate School of Business and entrepreneur with experience spanning consumer goods and venture capital. I co-founded Fronen Foods, a natural ice cream company, where I served as CEO for seven years before exiting to an investor group in 2024. I raised funding from VCs, angels, and NFL quarterback Derek Carr, secured national distribution with retailers like Whole Foods and Sprouts. Currently, I'm Managing Partner at Dorm Room Fund investing in early-stage student startups and an MBA Intern at Greycroft focusing on consumer investments. When I'm not working, you'll find me fostering rescue dogs or perfecting dessert recipes.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I experienced firsthand how transformational the right guidance can be. During my MBA application journey, I worked with a coach who completely changed my experience—what could have been overwhelming became amazing. That coach helped me navigate not just the academic and career aspects, but also helped me see opportunities I might have missed and gave me the confidence to pursue bold paths like my current roles in venture capital. I know how much the right support at the right time can unlock someone's potential and transform their entire trajectory. Whether you're applying to programs, navigating career transitions, or building something new, having someone in your corner who believes in your vision and can help you see around corners makes all the difference.
