Hi, this is Shawn! I graduated from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin with my Bachelor’s degree in Canfield Business Honors & Finance with a certificate in Applied Statistics. Having gained admission to top business schools like UPenn (Wharton), UT Austin (McCombs), UC Berkeley (Haas), and USC Marshall, I know firsthand what it takes to stand out and prepare for college entrance exams. For students starting in the 1000–1300 range, score improvements of up to 300 points are common, while those beginning in the 1300–1400 range often see gains of up to 200 points after just 5–10 sessions. Reading and writing can seem unscientific, but I can help bring some method to the madness. I received a 780 on the section in high school (1 wrong), and have since helped tutor many high school students during college. There are common patterns for the types of questions you'll get asked, and I will help you think like a test-maker and test-taker.

Note: Due to high demand, I do not offer free intro calls or discounted sessions. Thank you for understanding. I didn't just walk in and get a perfect score. My first score was in the 50th percentile. I studied my way to 99th percentile, so it's definitely possible. I have a 99th percentile score on the GMAT, GRE, and SAT, and have taught for Manhattan Prep, Kaplan, and Target Test Prep. I don't just teach the content. I teach how to think. I have a Masters in Education from Harvard and have written a book on the mental approach to standardized tests.
