SAT Tutors, Events, and Resources

Since 2014, I have been prepping students for the SAT across three different versions of the exam. In the course of my time as a full-time tutor, I have worked with more than 500 SAT students. My experience is not limited to just those hoping for super-high scores to get into elite colleges, although I have certainly worked with such students. Instead, I have worked with students starting at every stage in the prep process and every starting point in terms of score. I offer full test preparation for both the Math section and the Reading and Writing section. Students who spend at least 10 sessions with me are likely to see at least a 100-point improvement in their composite score. Those with more than 20 sessions often see improvement more in the 150-200 point range. However, even those who book only a few session can also benefit, as time going over test-taking strategy and calculator skills can provide a boost of around 50 points.

Simi is a native New Yorker and graduated from NYU Summa Cum Laude with a BA in both Economics and English. He received his graduate degree from Columbia Business School in 2020, where he focused on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Simi is an expert tutor with over 15 years of experience both teaching and developing content for standardized tests such as the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, ACT, GMAT, and GRE. He owned and operated his own successful tutoring company, where he oversaw a team of tutors and developed tailored curricula for students of all levels. An accomplished test taker himself, he received a perfect score on the SAT and scored in the 99th percentile on the GMAT.
