Jacob Feldman is the President and Founder of Nexus Academics and has supported students and families globally since 2002. A career educator and academic consultant, Jacob has specialized in LSAT preparation for over two decades, working with thousands of students at every performance level. His teaching combines deep subject matter expertise with real pedagogical insight and empathy. Jacob previously spent nine years tutoring, training, and writing materials for a top-tier global test prep company. He also served as an academic consultant and test design specialist for New Classrooms Innovation Partners (formerly School of One), where he helped develop cutting-edge adaptive assessments for middle-school students across the U.S. He holds a degree with high distinction from McGill University in Montreal.

I've been teaching and tutoring the LSAT since 2009, full-time since 2016, with over 12,000 hours' experience. I have taught large and small group classes, done individual and small group tutoring, hosted in-person and online seminars, and answered thousands of questions about the LSAT in various public and private forums. I've helped students at every level get to a higher level, from those coming to the test with no experience and very low diagnostic scores, all the way to those who have been studying and practicing for months or years and who are trying to improve from the low 170s, and everything in between. I successfully navigated the law school application process on my own, without any career coaching or LSAT classes/tutoring. Between the actual exams, tryout exams for jobs, and personal diagnostic exams, I have never scored below 99th-percentile on the LSAT, GMAT, nor GRE. I started in the industry in 2002 with Kaplan, and founded my own company in 2005. I was one of Veritas's (acquired by Varsity Tutors as their elite program) first instructors and a go-to instructor for most of their existence, teaching literally coast-to-coast until moving off of their grid in 2017. Career highlights include successfully writing and then teaching my own LSAT course, teaching over a dozen GMAT classes at Booth School of Business at University of Chicago, and tutoring around Silicon Valley at locations such as the Google campus, Stanford, and the San Francisco Financial District. In short, I've taught and tutored thousands of students within the elite model used by Veritas, Manhattan, and others, in which the highest-scoring instructors teach in small classrooms and focus on higher-end analytic aspects of the exam. I wrote my own LSAT course, and I contributed to the highly-regarded Veritas course and books. My students have gone on to attend the best law and business schools in the world.
