Dozie was a principal and a venture partner at the venture capital arm of George Kaiser Family Foundation. He was also a vice president at Red Arts Capital, a senior associate at Madison Dearborn Partners, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and an associate at General Electric. He is also on the board of directors of A Red Orchid Theatre. He was on the board of directors of The Printing Museum. Dozie earned a bachelor of science, magna cum laude, in electrical engineering from the honors college of University of Mississippi, a master of supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University, a master of public policy from University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.

As a recipient of more than $35,000 in outside scholarships for my first year of college, I understand what it takes to stand out in highly selective applicant pools. My scholarship experience most notably includes being named a Coca-Cola Scholar ($20,000), a scholarship with roughly a 0.1% acceptance rate, as well as being selected as an Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholar and a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Semifinalist. What sets my coaching apart is my focus on helping students identify and communicate the unique experiences, values, and accomplishments that make them memorable. Strong scholarship applications are about more than impressive resumes; they are about compelling storytelling, strategic positioning, and authentic self-reflection. I work closely with students to develop essays, activities lists, and application strategies that highlight their strengths and maximize their chances of success.

As a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship in 2017 (one of 12 selected from the states of Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts), I know how stressful and opaque the application process can be. When I got to the interview, it was clear to me that the 6 Harvard students who had been selected had all received substantial preparation support from Harvard and from their own personal network (including strategies for the notorious Cocktail Reception!) that other students like me were not afforded.
