Over the past three years, I have edited and coached over 100 student AMCAS applications, including their personal statements, activities documents, and secondary applications. My clients have all been accepted into their desired schools with MCAT scores ranging from 494-520+. Started medical school at Columbia straight out of Stanford undergrad, gained admission to Columbia Business School and completed the dual degree in 5 years. I have hosted "Applying to Med School" sessions for 200+ college and high school students. Experienced with non-traditional applicants, public/private scholarships, and crafting your 1-of-1 story.

I am a medical student at the the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. I received a 522 on my MCAT and have a background in research, healthcare consulting, and startups (as Co-Founder and CEO of an orthopedic device company). I have a special interest in students with backgrounds in entrepeneurship, consulting, and research. I love to learn about what brought people to the medical field and help students illustrate why they are a great fit for each of their dream medical schools!

I'm Mae Wimbiscus. I recieved my undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt as well as my medical degree. I am now training in Anesthesiology at my top choice of Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard). Welcome to my profile! As the Co-President of my undergraduate university's American Medical Student Association, I worked closely with our Health Professions Advising Office in designing workshops, panels, and mentorship sessions dedicated to pre-medical admissions.
