Previously in my role at France's prestigious Sciences Po, I offered countless workshops on how to write an impactful CV, as well as how to interview effectively. Prior to this, I worked in admissions & recruitment at Long Island University in New York. Additionally, as an English teacher for many years, most recently at the prestigious École de Guerre, you can rest assured that your essays will be critiqued for English grammar and spelling with the eye of a hawk. In 2020, I created Candidate Coach to do admissions consulting full time. Currently based between Paris, France and New York City - centrally located and globally connected to team up for appointments, no matter what your time zone in the world.

As a Product Manager at Microsoft, I bring a unique perspective to MBA coaching. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I was a College Honors Merit Scholar and a Grace Hopper Scholar. As a college senior, I applied and was admitted to top business schools across the country, including Wharton, MIT Sloan, and Columbia Business School. My career has taken me through both sides of the MBA world. I spent two years as an Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, a top-10 program, reviewing thousands of applications. I know how admissions decisions get made. I have also been at Uber for nearly 5 years, starting in recruitment and talent acquisition before moving into Chief of Staff, and Strategy & Planning (program management) roles. I’ve been recognized with multiple awards at Uber during my tenure and was a featured Speaker at the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) in Chicago in 2025. I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. In addition to sitting on both Stanford's and Northwestern's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Facebook, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those from unconventional backgrounds trying to thrive in tech.

I was invited to interview with all four MBA programs to which I applied (Wharton, HBS, Booth, and Sloan), and I completed this process not too long ago.

I have in depth experience in coaching and mentoring, specifically in the MBA admissions space. I've gone through the process myself with huge success, I've coached prospective students through private coaching, as part of corporate coaching programs, and in support of the HBS admissions process. The reason I think I stand out and have found success as a coach is because I work hard to gain a true understanding of the applicant; to understand their motivations, values, drivers, strengths, and weaknesses. All of that is critical to craft a strong application for elite schools, but maybe more importantly it is critical to provide you the best support that I can. I've spent the last 16+ years helping ambitious applicants get into the world's most competitive MBA programs, including Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, MIT Sloan, Yale SOM, and Booth. Across 200+ MBA clients, 95% have been admitted to at least one of their top-choice programs, and over half have received scholarship money. I graduated from NYU Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and English, and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, where I focused on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. That gives me a current, first-hand perspective on what M7 adcoms are actually looking for. My career in this work started in Singapore, at a test prep and admissions firm I helped expand into Shanghai, running tutoring and admissions consulting in both markets before coming back to New York to found my own practice. That international background means I'm equally comfortable working with US candidates and applicants from Asia, Europe, and beyond, particularly the kinds of candidates who often have the strongest stories but the hardest time articulating them: finance professionals reinventing themselves, engineers making a pivot, non-traditional career switchers.
