My name is Alexia Godron, and I'm a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. I originally applied to law school as a GPA/LSAT splitter, and transferred from Boston University School of Law after my first year. I've always been very passionate about helping people reach their full potential, particularly when it comes to education! I also have significant experience in tutoring and coaching - I've worked with high school students in college admissions coaching for three years, volunteer as an alumni interviewer for Yale University college admissions, and tutored French and Greek for over 4 years (including at the Yale Center for Language Study). I am passionate about helping prospective law students see their strengths and achieve their admissions goals. As a first-generation college graduate with 9 years of law school admissions experience and over 10,000 reviewed applications, I understand the challenges students face throughout the application process. In 2010, I received a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University, Northridge. In 2013, I received a law degree from New York Law School. After law school, I worked as a staff attorney for the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation, where I represented survivors of intimate partner violence before the New York City Family Court and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service. In 2016, I joined LMU Loyola Law School as an Assistant Director of Admissions. In 2023, I joined the UCLA School of Law as the Associate Director of Admissions & Diversity Initiatives. Now, I am a flight attendant for a major US Airline and still review law school applications. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling internationally, dinner parties with friends, and salsa dancing.

With 20+ years of professional experience across law, education, and leadership, I bring both firsthand experience and strategic insight to every stage of the law school journey. I earned my Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and AB from Harvard University, scored in the 99th percentile on the LSAT, and was admitted to Harvard and Stanford Law before choosing Columbia—where I secured my Big Law offer as a 1L in Jones Day’s Paris office. As the founder of Nurimas Coaching, I’ve dedicated over 350 hours to supporting aspiring law students—first-gen, nontraditional, and transfer applicants alike—through LSAT preparation, application strategy, and career alignment. My specialty lies in helping candidates craft authentic, imaginative personal statements that reveal how they think and what drives them. Clients have written essays exploring a “third utopia” inspired by Indian science fiction, a Sherlock Holmes–style investigation into the heist of African languages as an introduction to how law can intentionally silence voices, and law as a language of displacement through its procedural rules—stories that marry creativity with intellectual rigor while remaining unmistakably personal. Beyond admissions, I help students study the law effectively, strengthen legal writing, and strategically position themselves for 1L and 2L opportunities. As someone who was admitted to both Harvard Law School and NYU Law, I bring firsthand experience navigating the highly competitive law school admissions process. My background includes four years as a software engineer at a top-tier tech company, where I honed analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills — all of which I bring to my coaching. I’ve conducted countless interviews in a professional setting and understand how to prepare applicants to present themselves with clarity and confidence. I’ve also already helped several individuals craft compelling personal statements and prepare strong applications, guiding them through every step of the process. Daniel Khalessi served as President of the Stanford Law Review and is a startup and venture capital lawyer at Sidley Austin LLP in San Francisco. He is passionate about helping others turn their personal experiences into powerful stories and achieve their dreams. Having lost his Dad at a young age, Daniel understands what it is like to overcome challenges. A product of Bay Area public schools, Daniel earned a B.A. from Stanford, M.A. in Global Affairs from Yale, M.A. in Economics (China Studies) from Peking University, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as a Teaching Assistant in constitutional law and earned prizes for outstanding performance. He previously worked as a startup lawyer at Latham & Watkins LLP and as a China analyst at Harvard's Belfer Center.

I'm a Yale University graduate and incoming student of the Stanford Law School class of 2028. I served as a Marine Corps officer in the four years after graduating Yale where I learned how to lead teams and developed discipline and mental toughness . I have extensive experience working with students to get into college and graduate programs through the nonprofit Rawan Mentorship. I will leverage my experiences in undergraduate and graduate admissions to support you throughout the application process from devising an application strategy to putting the finishing touches on your essays.

Hi, I’m Dr. Erica—a writing coach, Fulbright Scholar, and former college professor. I I bring a nontraditional perspective to law school and business school admissions, having spent nearly eight years in the professional world and over five years living and working abroad in Dubai and across the Middle East before returning to graduate school. I earned both my B.A. and M.A. from Brown University and was accepted into nearly every law school I applied to, as well as multiple JD-MBA programs. I also earned multiple merit scholarships at every school I was accepted to, and successfully navigated the negotiating process to increase my package based on other offers. Alongside my academic and professional journey, I am a three-time Ironman 70.3 finisher and competed at the 2023 World Championships, which reflects my commitment to discipline, resilience, and long-term goal-setting. I am deeply passionate about helping others navigate ambitious transitions while maintaining balance, well-being, and a clear sense of purpose.
