My professional journey spans roles in growth, strategy, and product management at leading companies like Lyra Health, Redesign Health, and Deloitte Consulting. I have worked with 20+ students on college admissions and test prep, helping them improve SAT scores and craft standout applications for top schools. I focus on helping students translate their experiences into compelling narratives, strengthen their extracurricular positioning, and maximize their admissions odds with clear, actionable guidance.

I help students applying to CS, engineering, and tech-adjacent undergraduate programs build applications that show both intellectual curiosity and real-world direction. My perspective comes from a technical master's degree from Nanyang Technological University and 15+ years in global tech, product, and operations roles at Amazon, Rakuten, and FedEx. I work with students and families on school list strategy, activity and project positioning, personal statements, supplemental essays, resume or activities lists, recommendation strategy, and interview prep. I am especially useful when a student has coding projects, robotics or research, competitions, startups, internships, or cross-cultural experience but needs help turning that raw material into a coherent admissions story. I coach in English, Japanese, and Chinese and can support applicants targeting universities in the US, UK, and Asia.

I've spent 10+ years helping students navigate college applications, and I've coached dozens through the process with multiple admits to Ivy League and top-10 programs. My background in engineering, consulting, and medicine gives me a different lens than most admissions coaches: I think in frameworks, and I know how to help a student find the thread that makes their application coherent and compelling. I'm especially effective with students who have strong profiles but haven't figured out how to tell their story — whether that's a non-traditional background, a pivot, or just a lot going on that doesn't fit neatly into a Common App box. I work primarily on essays and strategy: how to position your application, which schools to target, and how to make your personal statement actually sound like you.

I am qualified to coach undergraduate applicants through first-hand experience of highly competitive admissions across the UK and US. I received undergraduate offers from the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, and New York University, and later secured admission to the Wharton Deferred MBA programme. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how selective institutions assess academic motivation, personal narrative, extracurricular impact, and long-term potential. I also have extensive mentoring experience, having supported more than 15 students with successful applications to leading universities in the UK and US. My coaching covers university and course selection, personal statements, extracurricular positioning, CVs, interview preparation, and overall application strategy. I provide structured, candid feedback and help applicants present their experiences in a clear, distinctive, and compelling way. Additionally, I have worked as an academic tutor for undergraduate biomedical sciences and preclinical medicine at Oxford.

I went to Princeton, then won a Marshall Scholarship to Oxford, and was admitted to Harvard Law two years early through its Junior Deferral Program. I have spent the last three years at Write Track Admissions helping students build applications for exactly these kinds of places. Admissions officers at selective universities read thousands of applications that are, on paper, interchangeable. Strong grades, credible activities, competent essays. What separates the file that gets in is not another accolade. It is a clear sense of who the applicant is and what they will do with the place they are asking for. That is the thing most applicants never articulate, and it is what we work on first. What we work on: - A school list that is honest about your chances and still ambitious - The Common App personal essay, from the first idea through to a final draft that sounds like you - Supplemental and "Why us" essays, which is where most applications are actually decided - Your activities list and honours, written to show scale and initiative rather than participation - Choosing and briefing recommenders - Interviews, and waitlist strategy if it comes to that I also work with students applying to Oxford, Cambridge and other UK universities, including the personal statement, admissions tests and interview preparation, which the UK system weights very differently to the US. Hi! I'm Jack, a recent graduate of Harvard College in Government and Applied Mathematics. This fall, I'll be pursuing an MPhil at the University of Cambridge as an AI Spärck Scholar before attending Harvard Law School. Having recently gone through the college admissions process myself, I understand both the excitement and the uncertainty that come with applying to college. I was fortunate to be admitted to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, Brown, Penn, Georgetown, Williams, and Amherst, experiences that gave me firsthand insight into what selective colleges value and how students can present their strongest applications. Throughout my time at Harvard, I also developed a passion for teaching and mentoring. As a Teaching Fellow, I worked closely with students to help them tackle challenging material, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
