When I decided to pivot into consulting, I didn’t have the typical background so I worked part-time on pro bono projects, built a case for my employer to sponsor my MBA, and did everything I could to create opportunities where there weren’t any handed to me. Through all of this, I never lost sight of balance. I made time for movement where weight training and daily walks became my grounding rituals. I prioritized staying connected with my family and friends, even during the busiest times. That balance wasn’t a luxury, it was a necessity. And now, I coach others to find that same alignment: between ambition and well-being, between big goals and small wins.
