I worked in investment banking and growth equity for several years and have coached numerous candidates for jobs in these industries. I was actively involved with my firms' recruiting and hiring decisions and understand the process thoroughly; I was hired by the University of Michigan career center to coach students applying for investment banking jobs and have reviewed hundreds of resumes, cover letters and mock interviews; I have also spent many years working with non-profits such as Synergist to mentor college women interested in business and finance. I take a hands-on approach and strive to help every one of my clients reflect their best true potential.

I have significant experience recruiting for jobs in finance, including both summer analyst and analyst roles in IB and private equity/hedge fund associate roles. What sets me apart from other stellar coaches on this platform is that I didn't get into IB via a traditional route. I started my career in accounting and through a combination of networking, story crafting, technical prep, and grit found my way into a middle market investment bank. If you want to lateral to IB (or get in generally) I can help you. I had a number of significant roadblocks including poor health in my undergrad, a mediocre GPA and limited connections in IB. After figuring out which levers I needed to pull and which doors I needed to bang on, I now am almost a year into my job at Piper Sandler with a mega fund PE offer as well. Making this jump has unlocked an entire new level to my career and I am passionate about helping others in similar situations. If you can get the story right, it can take you anywhere.

I am a current upperclassman at Cornell University and an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Evercore (M&A, NYC). As the VP of Education for my school's Investment Banking Club, I have significant experience helping students build their foundational & advanced corporate finance skills, prepare for behavioral interviews and networking, and ultimately land the offer. My name is Kyle, and I'm currently an associate at a megafund in private equity, having worked as a full-time analyst on the technology investment banking team at Morgan Stanley for two years, and having graduated from Stanford with a degree in Economics and Computer Science.
