As a Management Trainee at Morgan Stanley, I have developed deep expertise across multiple business areas, including Investment Banking Advisory, Global Financial Crimes Prevention, Equities Sales and Trading, and Operational Risks. I was the first-ever Graduate Analyst in Asia Pacific selected for the prestigious three-year rotational program, with an offer rate of less than 1%! I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Hong Kong, where I co-founded the HKU Women in Finance Society and received some of the most competitive merit scholarships and graduate fellowships in the world. I have reviewed hundreds of applicant resumes, and successfully coached dozens of individuals to break into top investment banking roles, leveraging my comprehensive industry knowledge and first-hand experience. I have over ten years of investment banking experience, spanning bulge bracket and boutique / middle market firms, such as JPMorgan, Blackstone (now PJT), and Lincoln International. I primarily worked on mergers & acquisitions, capital raises, and restructuring engagements. After banking, I co-founded two companies and raised nearly $40m in VC funding. I currently work with start-ups and high-growth companies as a fractional CFO or consultant. I have also led investment banking new hire training programs, as well as on-campus investment banking interview prep seminars, for the last 8 years.

I'm excited to share that I'll be joining Goldman Sachs' TMT division as a summer associate! Coming from a non-finance background, I successfully broke into investment banking. Through helping my fellow Wharton students secure IB internships, I discovered my passion for coaching. I'd love to mentor others from non-traditional backgrounds looking to make this transition! Currently, I'm also working as an associate at Bling Capital and can guide you through landing your dream role in IB or VC.

I have worked in PE for several years, but before that, I was heavily involved in IB recruiting and helped many students in my school land their Summer Analyst and full-time offers. It is a very network driven industry to break into, and approaching the networking the right way is critical to generating your opportunities. Equally important is honing your behavioral and technical interviewing skills. I'm excited to help with all of that, just as I've done for many of my friends and mentees.

I successfully broke into investment banking from a non-target school, where I learned firsthand that the traditional recruiting funnel doesn't work for everyone. I’ve navigated the process and can help you build your own playbook for breaking in, just as I did. While I can cover the foundational technical concepts and conduct mock behavioral interviews, my primary focus is on empowering you to build a network and a resume that will be your greatest asset. I spent ~10 years working in IB and PE. During that time, and after, I've worked with dozens of Investment Banks in my operating roles.

After being just 1 of a select 30 sophomore interns, at Bank of America, I progressed to complete a junior-year internship, and receive a full-time offer at the firm. Upon joining BofA full time within Global Capital Markets, I was promoted to Associate after two years of being a top-ranked analyst. During my four years I helped underwrite over $200B of capital market transactions.
