Over the last 8 years, I've leveraged my own experience as a Lazard summer and full-time analyst to help coach 200+ students through this process, including crafting their story, preparing for technical interviews and even figuring out the right home for them (city selection, size of investment bank and group placement). After completing a summer internship and one year as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at J.P. Morgan in New York City, I spent a summer working as a teaching assistant with Training The Street, where I helped hundreds of summer analysts and full-time analysts prepare for their roles. I can help with interview prep (both technical and behavioral) as well as with networking and application strategy for those interested in summer and full-time analyst positions at bulge bracket banks, especially applicants from non-target and underrepresented backgrounds.

I am a Harvard MBA with Honors and was accepted out of UChicago as a 2+2 admit to HBS. I worked at Morgan Stanley out of college in the analyst program and became a Partner (Managing Director) for many years. I have coached investment banking for over a decade, and while I am new to Leland, I have coached over 1,000 candidates (I call them "coachees") into virtually all of the major investment banks, private equity, and venture capital firms. I coach internships and full time recruiting for undergraduates (from both target and non-target schools!), MBA recruiting, and also lateral candidates - transitioning from investment banking to private equity, for example, and on-cycle recruiting. My focus is on marketing collateral (resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn review), conducting outreach (using handshake and LinkedIn to reach recruiters), coaching behaviorals and technicals, and mock interviewing.
