Gaurav is an extraordinary coach. During my consulting interview preparation, Gaurav's guidance and support were instrumental for arriving at a positive outcome and reaching my goals - he was always there to listen, act as a sparring partner, provide direct/honest feedback and increase my confidence in my ability to succeed. Even now ~4 years after going through my consulting interview processes, Gaurav and I continue to keep in touch and I'm grateful to have him as a friend and mentor. I would strongly recommend anyone considering a career in consulting (or anyone interested in fulfilling their full career potential) to work with Gaurav as a coach.

I heard about Gaurav through alumni who spoke very highly of him, and I decided to seek his guidance for both case and fit interview prep. For case prep, Gaurav not only helped me build a structured approach to cracking cases but also coached me to handle high-pressure interviews—especially with Partners who tend to push candidates hard. This was a real game-changer, as stress interviews are something peers can rarely prepare you for. For fit prep, his advice helped me present my experiences in a way that truly resonated with consulting firms. He also helped me move beyond the common “save stories for specific questions” mindset and instead focus on delivering the most impactful messages throughout the interview. Overall, Gaurav’s guidance was pivotal in helping me land my role at BCG. I’d highly recommend him to anyone serious about breaking into consulting.

Matthew was single-handedly the best consulting coach I could’ve imagined. I didn’t realize how much of the peer advice I received for the casing process was incorrect and how many bad habits I build using Victor Cheng and others’ resources. I genuinely, without hyperbole, could not recommend someone more for consulting help. We drafted cold emails to consulting recruiters and partners, optimized my resume, and refined my casing skills to a degree that I didn’t realize was possible. Highly. Recommend.
