Erfun's tutoring is world-class. As someone who always struggled on standardized tests, and especially math, I frankly felt overwhelmed by my GMAT studies. Despite over a year of studying (including other classes and tutors), I couldn't get over the hump. Erfun was crucial in helping me to do just that. He was direct and honest in his feedback, and he had insights into my approach and thought process that I never would've realized myself. He was so good at understanding the psychology of the exam and helped me understand what the test was really about and what was truly holding me back. Erfun doesn't just teach the content. He teaches you how to reason effectively through the different question-types. He understands exactly what the test-makers are measuring and structures his lessons and homework to make sure you understand how to think properly through the questions and how to practice what you learned in the right way. His system for tracking results is intuitive, and he was always able to customize the sessions to make sure we hit my "sweet spot" -- I never felt like what I was learning was too easy, and I also never felt like it was over my head. Erfun was truly in sync with my learning style and needs, and I truly believe it was this level of customization that made the difference in my score. I should also mention that I live in Houston, so we did online tutoring. It was seamless and actually made the tutoring sessions even more effective, since I was able to record all the sessions and didn't have to commute. I can't say enough good things about Erfun's tutoring.
