Christine was outstanding to work with through my entire MBA application process. She was instrumental in setting out a strategic plan to navigate past my low undergrad GPA and highlighting my strengths in the applications. Her vast knowledge of European schools and previous experiences in admissions was invaluable, as she was always readily available to deal with any question or issue at moment’s notice. Ultimately, I was accepted into my #1 program, Oxford! I highly recommend Christine. The investment was worth every penny!

Throughout my whole application journey for MBA, Christine was very professional, responsive, and genuine. I was targeting Columbia from the beginning and she was there for every steps that required. I didn’t not set any budget for hiring a consultant because my only goal was to get admitted to the school that I want. I am based in New York and I was only targeting Columbia. I talked to about 10 different consultants including some consultants that my MBA friends recommended. From the first video call with Christine, I was able to know right away that she is professional and very experienced. With her solid background of working at admission offices at different schools, she really knows how to effectively tell your own, authentic and personal story into application essays. When it comes to MBA applications, I knew that it’s all about strategy on how to present yourself through applications (essays, resume and interview) and how to be the well-rounded applicant for schools. With her many years of experience at this field, she really knows how to craft the best application. I am very happy with the result and deeply thankful to her for everything.

Christine was absolutely brilliant. She has previous admissions experience, which I greatly valued and her advice was always 100% on point. My original essay drafts were generic, verbose, and bland. With Christine’s help, we transformed my original material into three very streamlined, well-articulated, to-the-point responses that really showcased my individual strengths and characteristics. Christine was always very quick to respond to my questions whether they be short, subject line only emails, or long, rambling paragraphs. She even made time for me over Christmas to help me out with some niggling issues. I felt Christine really went above and beyond. On many occasions, I would get an email saying something akin to – “Oh I’ve just been thinking again about what we spoke about 2 weeks ago … I think we should actually do it like this.” This really gave the impression she was committed to giving my application 100% attention. Christine really helped shape the material, providing perspective and context. She even got in touch the day before decision day to provide some calming words of encouragement. Choosing a consultant with actual admissions experience takes considerable guesswork out of the equation. On countless occasions, Christine was able to draw on actual experiences from reading candidates’ completed applications and relating that to how admissions decisions were made. I can’t emphasize this enough, I really saw this as the biggest value add of the whole process. And, she even had some insight into the scholarship process that allowed me to gain a scholarship to my chosen school!

I thank my lucky stars I was paired with Christine. This woman is an absolute Godsend. At every stage of the process, I knew I was working with an expert. Not just some clever MBA alumni from that school, but someone who worked on admissions committees in real life at two top schools. She knew what schools wanted, what they look for, what areas will ring alarm bells, and so on. There were no limits on the number of hours I could speak to her, how many emails I could send, or on how many iterations my essays could go through. I couldn’t be happier being matched with her. She coached me all the way through my three applications – from the basics, like thinking about why pursuing an MBA right now is the correct path to take and which schools I should consider, to interview preparation, and coping with being waitlisted (at a Top 3 school in the world) over the Christmas break! – and I think she has been my secret weapon. Though I’ll never know for sure, I am confident I would have been dinged at all of my three schools without her and her coaching.

From the first consultation to when I was admitted, Christine was extremely helpful and easy to work with! It was immediately obvious that she cares about her clients. She was instrumental in helping me understand and build my most effective and authentic story. Any time I had a question throughout the process she was always available to chat and provide feedback. Her previous experience working in admissions helped me gain a better understanding of the entire picture of my application. In the end, I was admitted to my top two schools. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone who is considering an MBA consultant. 5/5 stars!

Christine was a pleasure to work with! I was initially skeptical of MBA consultants as the previous consultants I spoke with before Christine were mostly focused on their sales pitch and pointing out my weaknesses. My initial consultation with Christine was like a breath of fresh air. She provided a detailed assessment of my profile and provided constructive advice on what I should focus my essays on. She took the time to understand me and my story, helping me craft an application that was authentic to me. In addition to essay help, Christine provided me emotional support throughout the application process whenever I doubted myself and gave me the confidence to forge on despite my initial rejections from my R1 schools. Christine worked with me closely to refine my applications for R2. I was ultimately accepted to Wharton and Columbia. I can tell that Christine truly cares about her clients and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an MBA consultant!

I am so glad I selected Christine as my consultant! She is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, direct, and honest. With her feedback, I was able to shape my application to better reflect myself and my goals. She consistently responded within an hour or so, was always willing to jump on the phone to chat or brainstorm, and was okay doing several rounds of edits to get the materials where we both wanted them to be. She also had a deep knowledge of the application process and could provide insights on timing, how they would judge my materials, etc. I truly felt that she was just as invested in getting me into B school as I am. Thanks to Christine I was admitted to my top 3 programs. I would recommend her a million times over!

I hired Kelsey after reading these testimonials. And man, am I glad I did. Working with her was like having an insider in my corner. As a former MBA admissions committee member, she intimately understands the minds of admissions staff. She helped me capitalize on my strengths, strategically frame my weak points, and most importantly encouraged me to be myself. She met me exactly where I needed to be met in the app process (which for me was square zero), and was there every step of the way from how to properly reach out to admissions, students and alumni, to editing my essay drafts (she’s an extremely skilled editor), all the way to interview prep and how to get off a waitlist. She leaves no stone unturned. In our initial meeting I told her about me, my story, my background, my goals and needs, and she turned around and laid out a personalized game-plan and checklist which was exactly what I needed. If you’re worried that working with a consultant will distort the true image and picture of ‘you’, don’t be. Kelsey really listens; she takes to heart everything you share, reads you like admissions will read you, and works hard to help you thoroughly craft the best possible version of your story and strategically build rock-solid, well-rounded apps. One of the best parts of working with her was having her available to quickly answer my thousands of questions and doubts. This is her world, she knows what she’s talking about (looking at you, r/MBA). She’s blazing fast, super friendly, realistic, professional, and an absolute hidden gem. She’s extremely good at what she does. Hire her and don’t look back!

The time before I found Kelsey, I was frustrated. I was just declined by one dream school and waitlisted by another dream school, both of which I have tons of connections and hopes for. At that moment, I was anxious and didn’t know what to do. I read all those MBA-related forums day and night and found out EmbarkMBA wrote Ask Me Anything on Reddit every year. One night, I read every reply from Kelsey and was like, “WOW, this lady really knows all the magics of MBA applications. Then Kelsey helped me with her ADCOM Review. She was a former M7 admission member, and she provided like 7~10 pages of comments with all my materials, essay, LOR, resume, extracurricular activities, you name it. She helped me find the weakness part of my application and totally changed my application philosophy. I was super careful about each word I chose and each extracurricular activity I input, turning my essay way too formal and “miserable” and my application extremely professional and cold. To be a top candidate, I need to be more than a good student. And Kelsey built my confidence and told me I AM. I realized, wow, I could write so many things besides student government or my outstanding performance at work. Let me cite one reply from Kelsey for the impressive story and activity, “Roller derby skaters, pole dancers, stained glass art-makers, wine sommeliers - there was a wide range of ECs I was pretty surprised & impressed by! Another misunderstanding I had before I knew Kelsey was the nationality and ORM. I realized ORM is not even a “drawback” when I apply for top MBAs. All those successful ORM candidates are unique. I must show my personality and not worry about “Asian compares with Asian things". Kelsey set up a very clear and professional plan for the waitlist strategy. And super fair about the cost and time she worked on my essay. She replied to emails super quickly and would tell me what was valuable for my application and what steps were not worth it for me to save time.

Words cannot describe the incredible guidance, expertise, and effort Kelsey provided during my MBA application journey. I was a military applicant, and early on in my application process I tried using some military-centric MBA consulting services. However, I was not satisfied with their sense of urgency and expertise, particularly because I was still extremely busy at work and needed an adviser who was willing to grind to help me meet application deadlines. However, another vet told me about Kelsey and after a quick intro call my application process did a complete 180. Her knowledge as a former M7 adcom was truly unmatched and she worked all hours of the day (literally sometimes at 0100) turning edits on my essays, resume, doing interview prep, and answering all my admissions questions. Further, she helped me tailor my essays so they were truly personalized and unique. In the end, I was admitted to an M7 and my dream business school, and I couldn’t have done it without Kelsey.
