John did a great job helping me pull together my stories and essays for Kellogg. He has tremendousknowledge in the admissions process and takes personal interest in his client's success. On a personal note, I was overwhelmed by the efforts, hard work and ingenuity needed to create an application package. At times, the application process induced self doubts and I felt like giving up the b-school dream. In these trying times, John had been a great motivator, guide and friend. He played an important mentoring role and helped me reaffirm faith in myself. I am not sure whether I would have pulled on without John's help. He has done a fantastic job

I couldn't have asked for a better MBA consultant. John is a great listener and strategist. After our kick-off meeting John understood my background and identified major themes that would make my application a success. I applied to three schools and he had a strong understanding of how to tailor my application to each one. John is detailed and patient. We went through over twenty drafts for my essays and we did nearly ten mock interviews. And for each instance, John gave me clear specific guidance on how to improve my work. Also, John effectively used his connections within SBC to get as many people read my essays and improve them. John will work you hard and as long as you are committed to the application yourself, John will keep you positive in the arduous process. With John's help, I was admitted by MIT Sloan and UCLA Anderson.

I found that working with John was great from the beginning. From the start, you worked with my schedule to make sure I could get started as soon as possible despite my late decision to apply to b-school. Your high level of commitment to a consistent stream of feedback was great. I felt that you really took a lot of time to get to know me (our first conversation crossed 3 hours) in order to make sure that my best foot and diversity was put forth to admissions committees. Your willingness to give “pep talks” and high degree of mark-ups on essays at the beginning of my writing was greatly appreciated in helping build confidence and giving direction. I could definitely tell that you had a high level of desire to see my success throughout the process. Your comments were always very clear and supported by rationale and examples, which allowed me to continually build vision throughout the process. This was instrumental in my making the rest of the essays I wrote better from the start. I also found your feedback on the mock interviews to be very clear and actionable. I did not find it difficult to implement your feedback immediately, which was definitely a function of your ability to break down the purpose of the questions on which I faltered and the key aspects of “successful” answers for my specific personality and application.

John’s support was instrumental in helping me present a complete and detailed picture of myself to admissions committees.
