After months of GMAT prep and tests, I finally had the score I wanted, but I felt that was all I had. I didn’t think I had the type of background that stands out to top MBA program admissions committees, and, to compound the stress, I felt overwhelmed by the entire admissions process. Luckily, I came across Jessica’s bio on Poets&Quants. I had a bit of time before applications were due, so Jessica and I started out with very high-level discussion on goals, school choice, and work/life experience – Jessica’s excitement about my story was motivation to continue, and her great ability to uncover and explore important elements of my story was fundamental to my success as an applicant.

Jessica is an incredible partner to assist/support with creating the best possible MBA candidacy anyone can put forward. With her support, guidance, and sage advice I was admitted to my first choice and her Alma mater Columbia Business School. Applying to business school can feel overwhelming, and I am guessing that is why most of you are here reading these reviews. Put your mind at ease and speak with Jessica! She goes above and beyond to provide not only support but encouragement as you work together through the arduous process of applying to business school. She communicates very well with direct candid feedback that added considerable depth to my applications, well beyond what I thought was even possible.

I was late to the game, applying right before R2 deadlines. I knew that selecting the right admissions consultant would be key to putting my best foot forward in the application process. I interviewed/investigated multiple top-ranked admissions firms, and was surprised how immediately clear it became that Jessica was the obvious choice. Jessica helped me navigate through the tight deadlines without sacrificing the quality of my application. Her guidance made the process not only bearable but actually self-reflective. I have a much better sense in real life (not just what I put in an application) of what I want to get out of my MBA and post-MBA career.

I say unequivocally that Jessica is a first-rate MBA admissions consultant. Since we've started working together, she has constantly been a resource for me (and an enthusiastic one at that!). Over the last several months, she's provided an incredible amount of helpful insights and perspectives and general support. Jessica helped me reflect on my past to unearth personal insights (e.g., what motivates me, what I would like to accomplish in business school and post-business school) that I then was able to discuss in my application essays. Perhaps more importantly, she helped me discuss these insights in an eloquent and effective manner, ensuring that my writing resonated well with admissions committees. She also prepared me incredibly well for the interviews I was fortunate enough to be invited to.

If you are reading this post, it's likely because you are considering hiring a consultant. Do it. The amount that you will pay for a consultant will be a drop in the bucket out of your MBA education and may even come back to you in scholarship money if your application is strong.

I am SO happy I decided to work with Jessica on my applications - if you want to put your very best foot forward and get into the best schools you can, working with Jessica is a no-brainer. I worked with Jessica on my applications to 4 M7 schools - I was admitted to 3 (waitlisted at 1) and will be attending HBS in the fall. I worked with Jessica this past year to review prior applications to GSB/HSB and do mock interview prep, and I was ultimately accepted to one of them this time around. She was incredibly helpful every step of the way. I am grateful that I was able to work with her this past year because she thoroughly reviewed my prior application, spoke at length about the overall strength of the narrative, and provided critical feedback that was instrumental in the success of my second try.
