I met with Jack numerous times to prepare for the 2022-2023 admissions cycle. Not only did he provide a complete overhaul of my personal statement, but he gave a multitude of tips for secondaries and interviews. Jack is highly responsive and was a pleasure to work with; he's clearly extremely knowledgeable about this area, and it's very helpful that he has recently undergone the process, himself. Xuan is a competent mentor who has a thorough understanding of the university admissions process. I come from a less privileged background, but Xuan was able to intelligently frame a “hook“ for my application so that I could better tell my story. His feedbacks on my essays also elevated my writing a great deal. I felt more confident about my application after being mentored by Xuan. Now, I have offers from Cornell, University of Michigan, and Tsinghua! I am often touched by his sincerity in guiding me with the application process. He has given up a lot of his time in the past 9 months to tackle the process with me. We communicated via WhatsApp almost every day and he gave long, detailed replies to every question I had without being frustrated. He always has me in mind - he checks in with me and sends me useful study resources whenever I don't start the conversation (I do that sometimes because I feel bad for taking up so much of his time!). He is also very willing to share his knowledge on Psychology, Data Science, Web Design, and Excel. I have learnt so much from him. Finally, when we are hanging out and not talking about the application process, Xuan is a warm-hearted friend. I feel at ease and happy around him. I am so lucky to have met him!
