My experience working with Sachin was quite good. I found he was very good at helping me dig deeper into my reflections on important experiences and find the right examples to illustrate a given point. I’m a fairly strong writer on my own, but I feel that without that extra push, I would have had a harder time choosing stories and positioning myself optimally for the audience – namely a business school admissions committee. Part of the reason I chose to work with Sachin was because sometimes I can be indecisive on important decisions like this – if I was ever between 2 topics or examples, he was able to help me feel comfortable choosing one and moving on. He was also incredibly accessible – always confirming receipt of my material by EOD sent and indicating when they would be returned with feedback (mostly 1-2 days). He was also very willing to help me beyond essays – helping me finalize my school list, connecting me with students at schools where I didn’t know people, and deciding to do an optional essay for my GMAT score. I enjoyed working with him and trusted his advice. I believe that Sachin helped me put my best foot forward and early outcomes are optimistic (interviews at HBS, Haas, Kellogg).

My experience working with Sachin was excellent. I chose him because I thought he stood out from the other consultants at other companies that I spoke with, and I thought he could really help me improve my essays. And he delivered! I'm very happy with the results (got in to Kellogg MMM and Booth). I've already recommended him to another prospective client. Strengths: His strength is definitely in the essay department - both in helping me generate ideas and shape content. Also, when I first spoke to him - this sounds funny to write - he seemed to really listen to what I saying, which stands in contrast to the other consultants I spoke with. So, listening would be another strength of his. He also was very fast in turning around essay edits over email.

Willie was a great advisor during the stressful business school application process. He provided me the feedback that friends and family couldn't or wouldn't. Sachin was very helpful in putting together my essays. I got an interview from Booth and waiting to hear back from Kellogg. The most helpful part of my consulting with Sachin was his creative way to use essay prompts to differentiate myself from other candidates. He advised me to make my essay more personal and less centered around my professional life. I think this helped set me apart from other applicants.

(Laura) immediately spotted deficiencies in my past applications and gave tips to rewrite my essays using my own style. My essays were significantly better organized and clearer. Had I used (her service) for my first applications, I would have certainly received more invitations, as re-reading my past applications made me realize my mistakes. I worked with Laura Nelson and had a great experience. The process is a lot of work, so I would suggest starting early. It is pretty easy to write good essay, but really hard to write great ones! Laura helped me craft an interesting story that combined my career goals and past work and academic experiences into an engaging story. She also pushed me to convince the admissions committee “why” a specific MBA program is right for me. I got into my top two schools (even with a below average GMAT). Laura was great and I would recommend that anyone use her (services).
