Getting Sarah involved in my Tepper master’s application was one of the best decisions I made ! I reached out to Sarah for help regarding my MS application under strict timelines along with money being a constraint considering that I am an international student. I still remember my first call with her, where I had no certain plan on how I plan to approach my application, the only thing I was certain of was that the application is crucial to me and I want to do it. Sarah understood my case and took charge of the whole application. She helped me draft a plan to meet a strict timeline of ~14 days in hand and roughly 7 Essays along with 2 Recommendations to complete. For each of the essays, there were roughly 3 versions of work done to get it to final form so a total of ~27 pieces of essays to work on. Sarah has very strong judgement of what exactly needs to go in an essay. She does thorough research on school and program you are applying for and ensures that the final form of your work includes details of what school is looking for. For each Essay , she would ask me to write my version first and then review it thoroughly to provide pointers on what can be done in order to make content more meaningful. In the entire process, Sarah ensured that I stick to my authentic self and she would not compromise with my original idea; and patiently iterated until I attain the best version of the essay for the application. She is a flexible, resourceful & team player. With a strict timeline and several versions of essays to finish, she was flexible in taking up essay reviews at my convenience and made sure that they were done on time. Even though she was working from Kenya at that time, she never let time zone difference be an issue to connect . She has been quick in responding to my email and resourceful to arrange needful. She is a team player and has a good understanding of the mindset of the applicant and therefore is your buddy over being a ‘coach’ or a consultant. Sarah helped me realize my true potential and gave me confidence to approach other potential applications. Had she not motivated me throughout the process, considering the circumstance I was in, I might have given up. I recommend Sarah for all admission related needs. And specially to international students, she is passionately driven towards helping student out and therefore do not hesitate to ask.

I recently attended Ben's workshop on the Stanford GSB "What Matters Most" essay, and left feeling much better prepared and genuinely inspired to write. Ben provided a lot of helpful writing tips & practical advice, but I think the best takeaway for me was feeling more empowered to tell my story. I've struggled in the past to write openly about difficult life experiences/adversity, so going into the session, I was unsure about how to approach this, but reading Ben's essay (and other examples) was really, really moving and gives me the courage to write more openly about my own story. Ben is such an enthusiastic and skilled instructor, you can tell how passionate he genuinely is about writing and helping others tell their stories. The class was by far one of the most engaging Zoom things I've done in a long time! You will not regret it!

I would recommend to anyone who is interested in Stanford MSx program to talk with Satoko because she can guide you in so many things from the application process to the experiences in the program. Her session is super helpful. Thanks again Sakato-san.

I worked with Ben through an essay workshop on Leland, and even just that session provided priceless value to my MBA essay strategy. Ben does a great job of making the essay process approachable and applicable to your MBA experience. He also does a good job pressing you to think critically and really uncover the pieces needed to craft a good essay.

Drake conducted an extremely thorough secondary review of the written components of my application. Moreover, Drake was incredibly helpful with interview prep. Despite the short notice, Drake was willing to move around his schedule to accommodate a mock interview and gave me great advice thereafter.
