Rosie was a fantastic mentor for our venture as we applied to Brown Venture Prize and B-Lab (venture accelerators and pitch competitions): her experience building and scaling her own start-up helped us understand what investors and judges were looking for (extensive bottom research in accelerators vs unit economics, financials, existing market traction in pitching competitions). She also encouraged us to state all our assumptions and explain them in our submission documents — a detail that I believe made us stand out and ultimately get selected for the summer accelerators we applied to!

I scored 161 Quant and 162 on Verbal. I started off with the free magoosh trial, i used tested tutor for quant and then used saad’s 341 vocab list. I stuck with these till the end and made my own cheat sheets based on these. I did Saad Amer’s mocks from instagram + ETS + any i could find on the internet that were free. Verbal was as per usual, but quant section 2 was especially difficult on test day. My vocabulary was sufficient, and it solely came from the 341 list. Saad was extremely helpful, he’s a thorough educator and extremely helpful, but be sure to stick through with his advice even if it seems to not make sense in that moment. I did approximately 1 month on and off with last 2 weeks targeted prep. I particularly liked the 341 vocabulary list, and Saad’s timing strategy and the order he gives for answering questions is very useful. The process was smooth, i’d asked saad beforehand what it would look like and it was very similar to what he said.
