The most comprehensive SAT package: designed for students aiming for major score transformations, top-percentile scores, or who simply want the deepest, most thorough prep available. The right package for students with a longer prep arc, a meaningful score gap to close, or ambitions for elite scores (1500+). The engagement begins with a full-length proctored SAT diagnostic and a comprehensive review with both the student and parents to align on goals, target scores, and prep strategy. I build a custom prep plan tailored to the student's specific profile, and we use the 40 hours of 1-on-1 instruction to work systematically and deeply across the entire test. What separates the Intensive from Standard isn't just additional hours, it's additional depth. The package includes 4–6 full-length proctored practice tests across the engagement (vs. typically 2–4 in Standard), with each one followed by a detailed live review session. It includes dedicated work on advanced strategy and pattern recognition for students aiming at elite scores. It includes pacing and stamina training for managing a long, high-stakes test day. And it includes formal score milestone reviews with parents at multiple points across the engagement, so families always know where their student stands and what's coming next. If a retake is part of the strategy, retake preparation is fully included, analyzing the official score report, identifying remaining weak spots, and refining strategy for the second test. There's no additional package required if your student wants to take the SAT more than once. All curriculum, materials, and practice tests are included. Throughout the engagement, your student has direct, high-priority messaging access for time-sensitive questions.

This is the most thorough SAT package I offer, and the work is structured to feel like a real long-arc partnership rather than a transactional series of lessons. We meet for 60–90 minute live video sessions on a regular cadence, typically weekly during the prep arc, stepping up to twice-weekly in the weeks leading up to the test if needed. Between sessions, your student has direct, high-priority messaging access. My approach is built on pattern recognition, test strategy, and disciplined execution, not endless practice tests. But in the Intensive, the depth goes further. We work on advanced strategy techniques that separate top scorers from average ones. We do dedicated pacing and stamina training because the SAT rewards students who can sustain focus across the full test, not just answer questions correctly in isolation. We track progress carefully through 4–6 full-length proctored practice tests, each followed by a live debrief where the real teaching happens. Parents stay informed throughout, I provide formal score milestone reviews at multiple points across the engagement so families always know where their student stands and what's coming next. The Intensive is the right fit for students with real ambitions: major score jumps, top-percentile targets, or simply the desire for the deepest, most thorough prep available.
Engagement timeline: This package is designed to be completed across approximately 4–6 months. Compressed timelines can be accommodated for students with specific test windows; longer timelines are also possible. Hours: 40 hours of live 1-on-1 instruction, plus async messaging access throughout the engagement. Pre-engagement diagnostic and goal-setting: A strategy session and a comprehensive goal-setting session with student and parents are completed before tutoring begins. Materials: All curriculum, practice materials, and proctored full-length practice tests are provided. No additional purchases are required. Live sessions: 1-on-1 video sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times via my calendar, typically 60–90 minutes each. Cadence is typically weekly across the engagement, stepping up to twice-weekly in the weeks before official test dates if appropriate. Cancellations require 24 hours notice; no-shows or late cancellations count toward the 40-hour total. Response time: I respond to messages within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours on weekends. During peak periods, most responses are same-day or next-day. Practice tests: 4–6 full-length proctored practice tests are included throughout the engagement, each followed by a live debrief session and full written review. Score milestone reviews: Formal progress reviews with parents are scheduled at multiple points across the engagement to align on progress, focus areas, and any strategy adjustments. Retake support: If a second SAT attempt is part of the strategy, full retake preparation is included — score report analysis, identification of remaining weak spots, and refined strategy for the second test. No additional package or fee is required. Add-on hours: Additional hours beyond 40 can be added at the package per-hour rate of $250/hour if more work is needed. Refunds: Refunds are available on a pro-rated basis for unused hours within the first 45 days of engagement. After 45 days, the package is non-refundable. Unused hours remain available throughout the prep cycle.
