HYBE is the largest K-pop label, specializing in music production, talent management, and content creation. It operates multiple labels and manages globally renowned K-pop artists like BTS. I led global investments and acquisitions to expand HYBE’s business, targeting top entertainment players in the U.S., Japan, and Korea that leverage innovative technologies. Additionally, I oversaw the daily management of 23 investment portfolios, including strategic decision-making, liquidation, and fundraising.

Higround is a leading Korean TV drama and film production company with strong ties to major broadcasters. In 2022, it secured $50 million in investment and is expanding into interactive TV series, film distribution, and webcomic production. I spearheaded various M&A initiatives to drive the company’s growth and expansion. Working closely with the CEO, I oversaw the entire organization of 18 employees and managed key performance indicators for both the business and production teams.

Location: Sydney, Australia and Seoul, South Korea EQT Group is a global investment firm managing private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit funds with $270 billion AUM. In 2023, EQT launched its Korea franchise to expand in Asia. As lead Associate on a $3.8 billion acquisition, I managed the entire process, coordinating with 100+ stakeholders and creating valuation models and investment memos. In the Sydney office, I developed a 5-year full-potential plan for a newly acquired cancer care center, focusing on overseas expansion.
